Answer capsule

The November 2026 CRM Software benchmark compares 10 companies across 272 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Pipedrive leads with 64 recommendations (23.53% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 102 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many recorded answers affirmatively recommended them. That count is not the same as how often a company appeared: a company can be mentioned frequently yet recommended rarely, and the gap between those two readings is itself informative.

Ties matter because equal recommendation counts share a rank position; the ordering does not imply a unique winner. Placements are nested inside recommendations, so first-place and shortlist counts are subsets rather than separate wins. Reading mentions, recommendations and placements together gives a fuller picture than any single column.

102 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 303, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but only a minority recommended one. That contrast shows that appearing in an answer and being endorsed within it are distinct outcomes, and the benchmark's coverage is therefore broad at the mention level and narrower at the recommendation level.

Because an answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation counts exceed the number of answers containing a recommendation. Answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison, so the coverage figures describe this tracked set only.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Pipedrive ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 156 (57.35%); recommendations: 64 (23.53%). Top 3 placements: 33 (12.13%); first-place placements: 13 (4.78%).

Wording about the company: 86 positive, 70 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 41.0%. The net framing score was 0.55 (defined in Methodology).

92 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 51.56% were Top 3 and 20.31% were first-place.

Pipedrive ranks first by recommendation count, and its mentions also carry a comparatively high share of affirmative endorsement. Mention presence and recommendation are distinct measures: appearing in an answer is not the same as being endorsed within it. The recorded answers show both a broad presence and a substantial endorsement share.

Wording about Pipedrive is mostly positive with no negative mentions, and the net framing score is positive. Framing describes how the company was worded, not why an endorsement occurred. Many mentions carried no recorded recommendation, so reach and endorsement should be read as separate results.

Placement describes where a recommended company sits in the recorded answer, not an additional category of success. Top 3 and first-place counts are contained within recommendations, so they should be read as proportions of a company's own recommendation base rather than added to it.

HubSpot Live Chat and Salesforce Service Cloud show a large share of their recommendations landing near the top, while monday.com and Insightly show smaller shares. These are descriptions of recorded ordering, not evidence of customer preference or conversion.

Framing classifies the wording surrounding each mention as positive, neutral or negative. Neutral wording dominates for most companies in this set, and no company recorded negative mentions, so the net framing scores sit at or above zero throughout.

Positive wording is not the same as a recommendation, and neutral wording does not indicate disapproval. The classification describes how the selected answers phrased their references; it does not measure reputation, customer sentiment or company quality, and it cannot explain why recommendations differed.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

HubSpot Live Chat appears in more answers than any other tracked company, yet its recommendation count trails the leader. Its recommendations are unusually concentrated near the top of answers, with a majority of them placed in the top three.

Most of its mentions are neutral in wording, and many mentions carried no recommendation. The contrast between wide appearance and narrower endorsement is a description of the recorded answers, not a measure of market position.

Salesforce Service Cloud

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Salesforce Service Cloud mentions, recommendations and placement?

Salesforce Service Cloud ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 198 (72.79%); recommendations: 53 (19.49%). Top 3 placements: 36 (13.24%); first-place placements: 26 (9.56%).

Salesforce Service Cloud combines high mention reach with a recommendation count just behind the top two. Its recommendations frequently land near the top of answers, and roughly half of them are first-place placements.

Neutral wording outnumbers positive wording in its mentions, and a large share of mentions carried no recommendation. The profile describes recorded answer content; it does not show why the company was endorsed when it was.

monday.com

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about monday.com mentions, recommendations and placement?

monday.com ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 138 (50.74%); recommendations: 50 (18.38%). Top 3 placements: 17 (6.25%); first-place placements: 10 (3.68%).

monday.com sits in the upper middle of the recommendation ranking with a moderate mention share. Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is comparatively healthy, but its placements are a small fraction of its recommendations, so few of its endorsements appear near the top of answers.

Positive wording is common relative to neutral, with no negative mentions. These figures describe the selected answers and do not establish product standing or customer preference.

Zoho Inventory

Questions This Section Answers

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Zoho Inventory appears in a large share of answers, yet a comparatively small share of those appearances also carried an affirmative recommendation. Wording is overwhelmingly neutral, with positive mentions a minority and none negative, so its presence is broad but its framing is largely non-committal.

Among its recorded recommendations, most were placed in the top three, so its endorsements tend to sit high in the answer even though they are relatively rare. No prior-period comparison is available, so this profile describes one month only.

Positive wording is relatively common against neutral wording, and no negative mentions were recorded. The profile describes the selected answers only and does not infer reputation or causes.

SugarCRM

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about SugarCRM mentions, recommendations and placement?

SugarCRM ranks 8 by recommendation count. Mentions: 26 (9.56%); recommendations: 6 (2.21%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

20 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 0.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

SugarCRM records a small number of mentions and fewer recommendations, with no top-three or first-place placements in the recorded answers. Those zero placement counts are measured results, not missing observations; only ratios needing a nonzero base would be undefined.

Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is moderate but rests on a sparse base, so it should be read with caution. Wording is mostly neutral with a minority positive and none negative. No prior-period comparison is available, and the profile does not explain why endorsements were absent.

Keap

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Keap mentions, recommendations and placement?

Keap ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 28 (10.29%); recommendations: 5 (1.84%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

23 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 0.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Wording is predominantly neutral, with positive mentions a minority and no negative ones. These are recorded answer patterns; the profile does not establish why the company was rarely endorsed.

Microsoft Power Apps

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Microsoft Power Apps mentions, recommendations and placement?

89 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 50.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Microsoft Power Apps appears in a substantial share of answers but is almost never recommended, giving it the lowest recommendation-to-mention ratio in the set. Its wording is almost entirely neutral, with very few positive mentions.

Its single top-three placement is a measured result on a very small recommendation base, so the associated proportion should be read with caution. The profile describes recorded answer content and does not explain the low endorsement rate.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

The historical table shows a single reporting month, so it offers no basis for judging rank stability or change over time. Counts and rates are shown against the same answer total, and the ranking follows recommendation counts.

Monthly samples are separate selections, and the earlier months listed in the methodology measured different company sets, so they are excluded from comparison. The snapshot describes the recorded results without implying equivalent sampling across periods.

What the November Rankings Show

The rankings answer several different questions at once. Mention counts show how often a company appeared in the reviewed answers; recommendation counts show how often an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement shows where an endorsement sat within the answer; and framing classifies the wording around each reference. These measures overlap but are not interchangeable.

A company can be widely mentioned and rarely recommended, or recommended often from a narrower base. Placement is nested inside recommendation, so top-three and first-place figures refine rather than add to the recommendation count. Framing describes wording, not sentiment or quality.

Read together, the measures describe the selected AI answers. They do not establish why companies were endorsed, how customers perceive them, or how they compare outside this answer set.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

July 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. August 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. September 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. October 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

The benchmark covers a partial set of planned question categories, so findings apply to the available answers rather than the full intended scope. The reporting month labels the period, but exact collection dates were not verified, and each company is counted at most once per qualifying answer.

Rates use the full benchmark answer total, and top-three and first-place results are contained within recommendations. The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customers, sales or company quality. One answer can name several companies, so company totals overlap and should not be summed.
