Explore the domains and individual pages explicitly cited by AI systems during structured, category-specific research. Each industry index is built from published consensus studies and reports observed citation frequency and coverage within a defined data snapshot.
- Citation Occurrence
- One normalized URL cited in one valid AI research response.
- Citing Response
- One valid response containing at least one citation from the source.
- Published Snapshot
- A fixed, versioned dataset that is preserved rather than silently overwritten.

What It Measures
The index measures observed citation frequency, the number of valid AI responses citing a source, and the source’s coverage across studies, platforms, and buyer needs.
What It Does Not Measure
The index does not currently measure factual accuracy, source quality, sentiment, product quality, recommendation support, evidence independence, or causal influence.
Where the Data Comes From
Citation records are collected during Aging in Place Index consensus research and aggregated by LLM Authority Index into category-level domain and URL indexes.
Data Provenance and Independence
Aging in Place Index and LLM Authority Index are affiliated publications. Aging in Place Index produces the underlying AI-consensus research, while LLM Authority Index aggregates and analyzes the resulting citation records. Companies cannot purchase inclusion, a higher position, guaranteed citation coverage, or favorable treatment in either index.
From Citation Frequency to Citation Rating
The current Citation Index is the measurement layer: it records which sources were cited, how frequently they appeared, and how broadly they were distributed across the measured dataset. Citation Rating is a future analytical layer intended to examine additional factors such as cross-platform breadth, recommendation proximity, persistence, source independence, category specificity, and network position. No Citation Rating scores are currently assigned.
