Answer capsule

The November 2026 Procurement Software benchmark compares 10 companies across 481 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Coupa leads with 173 recommendations (35.97% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 189 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers affirmatively recommended them, so it measures recorded endorsement rather than overall presence. A company can appear in many answers without being recommended in most of them, which is why mention counts and recommendation counts answer different questions.

Ties in recommendation counts would share a rank; ordering alone does not establish a unique winner. Placement figures are nested inside recommendations, so first-place and shortlist counts should be read as subsets rather than additional wins.

189 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 895, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every included answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but only a minority recommended one. That gap is the central coverage fact: appearing in an answer is far more common than receiving an affirmative endorsement.

Because one answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers containing a recommendation. Answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison, so coverage here is bounded by the tracked set.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Coupa ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 466 (96.88%); recommendations: 173 (35.97%). Top 3 placements: 139 (28.90%); first-place placements: 93 (19.33%).

Wording about the company: 194 positive, 271 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 37.1%. The net framing score was 0.41 (defined in Methodology).

293 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 80.35% were Top 3 and 53.76% were first-place.

Coupa leads on recommendation count while also appearing in nearly every answer, so its reach and its endorsement are separate measurements. A high mention rate shows presence; the recommendation rate shows how often that presence came with affirmative backing.

Many mentions carried no recorded recommendation, which is expected when answers discuss options without endorsing them. The recommendation-to-mention ratio describes the recorded answers only and does not represent customer preference or conversion.

Placement describes where a recommended company appeared in an answer's ordering. Shortlist and first-place counts are subsets of recommendations, not separate achievements, so they should never be summed with recommendation totals.

Ratios such as the share of recommendations that were first-place depend on a nonzero recommendation base. Companies with few recommendations can show a striking placement share that rests on a small number of answers, so those ratios need cautious reading.

Framing classifies the wording used about a company in the selected answers. Neutral wording dominates for most companies, and negative wording is rare throughout, so net framing scores cluster in a narrow positive band.

Framing is not customer sentiment, product quality or an explanation for why recommendations occurred. A positive or neutral description can appear in an answer that never recommends the company, and the classification reflects only the recorded wording.

Company results in detail

Coupa

293 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 80.35% were Top 3 and 53.76% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Coupa combines the widest presence in the answer set with the highest recommendation count, and its recommendations frequently sit near the top of answer orderings. Most of its mentions are neutral in wording, with positive framing common and negative framing essentially absent.

Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is moderate: presence is far more common than endorsement. No prior-period comparison is available for this profile.

SAP Ariba

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about SAP Ariba mentions, recommendations and placement?

SAP Ariba ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 460 (95.63%); recommendations: 155 (32.22%). Top 3 placements: 109 (22.66%); first-place placements: 60 (12.47%).

Wording about the company: 177 positive, 282 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 33.7%. The net framing score was 0.38 (defined in Methodology).

305 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 70.32% were Top 3 and 38.71% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

SAP Ariba appears in almost every answer and ranks second on recommendations, but a smaller share of its recommendations reach the top of answer orderings than Coupa's. Neutral wording dominates its mentions, with positive framing frequent and negative framing negligible.

Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is among the lower ones in the tracked set, meaning endorsement accompanied presence less often than for several peers. No prior-period comparison is available.

Procurify

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Procurify mentions, recommendations and placement?

Procurify ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 247 (51.35%); recommendations: 106 (22.04%). Top 3 placements: 37 (7.69%); first-place placements: 13 (2.70%).

Wording about the company: 117 positive, 130 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 42.9%. The net framing score was 0.47 (defined in Methodology).

141 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 34.91% were Top 3 and 12.26% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Procurify appears in about half of the recorded answers and receives an affirmative recommendation in a substantial minority of them. Its wording is mostly neutral or positive, with no negative framing recorded, so the company is generally presented without criticism rather than actively praised.

Placements sit below its recommendation count: shortlist and first-place appearances are a smaller subset of the endorsements. The recommendation-to-mention ratio describes the recorded answers only, not customers or sales. No prior-period comparison is available.

GEP SMART

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about GEP SMART mentions, recommendations and placement?

GEP SMART ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 219 (45.53%); recommendations: 97 (20.17%). Top 3 placements: 65 (13.51%); first-place placements: 20 (4.16%).

Wording about the company: 106 positive, 112 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 44.3%. The net framing score was 0.48 (defined in Methodology).

122 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 67.01% were Top 3 and 20.62% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

GEP SMART shows a strong recommendation-to-mention ratio and a notable share of its recommendations landing in shortlist positions, giving it a more placement-heavy profile than several higher-ranked peers. Positive and neutral wording are close in frequency, with a single negative mention recorded.

Its recommendation count sits just below the companies immediately above it. No prior-period comparison is available.

Precoro

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Precoro mentions, recommendations and placement?

Precoro ranks 5 by recommendation count. Mentions: 208 (43.24%); recommendations: 96 (19.96%). Top 3 placements: 33 (6.86%); first-place placements: 18 (3.74%).

Wording about the company: 110 positive, 97 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 46.2%. The net framing score was 0.52 (defined in Methodology).

112 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 34.38% were Top 3 and 18.75% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Precoro records the highest recommendation-to-mention ratio among the tracked companies, and positive wording slightly outnumbers neutral across its mentions. Its recommendations, however, reach shortlist positions less often than several peers with similar counts.

That combination of frequent endorsement and modest placement is distinctive in this answer set. No prior-period comparison is available.

Ivalua

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Ivalua mentions, recommendations and placement?

Ivalua ranks 6 by recommendation count. Mentions: 227 (47.19%); recommendations: 95 (19.75%). Top 3 placements: 53 (11.02%); first-place placements: 14 (2.91%).

Wording about the company: 102 positive, 124 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 41.9%. The net framing score was 0.44 (defined in Methodology).

132 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 55.79% were Top 3 and 14.74% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Ivalua appears in nearly half the answers and earns recommendations at a solid rate, with a majority of those recommendations reaching shortlist positions. Neutral wording outweighs positive across its mentions, and negative framing is minimal.

Its first-place share is comparatively small, so most of its placement strength sits in the shortlist rather than the top slot. No prior-period comparison is available.

Jaggaer

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Jaggaer mentions, recommendations and placement?

Jaggaer ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 238 (49.48%); recommendations: 79 (16.42%). Top 3 placements: 28 (5.82%); first-place placements: 16 (3.33%).

Wording about the company: 90 positive, 148 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 33.2%. The net framing score was 0.38 (defined in Methodology).

159 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 35.44% were Top 3 and 20.25% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Jaggaer appears in roughly half of the recorded answers, but affirmative recommendations accompany a smaller share of those mentions. Neutral wording dominates its framing, with positive wording less frequent and no negative mentions recorded, so it is usually named without evaluative language.

Its shortlist and first-place placements are limited relative to mentions, and first-place appearances form a notable part of its recommendations on a modest base. These ratios describe the recorded answers, not customer behaviour. No prior-period comparison is available.

Zip

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Zip mentions, recommendations and placement?

Zip ranks 8 by recommendation count. Mentions: 165 (34.30%); recommendations: 78 (16.22%). Top 3 placements: 23 (4.78%); first-place placements: 14 (2.91%).

Wording about the company: 83 positive, 81 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 47.3%. The net framing score was 0.50 (defined in Methodology).

87 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 29.49% were Top 3 and 17.95% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Zip has the narrowest presence among the higher-ranked companies yet the strongest recommendation-to-mention ratio in that group, suggesting endorsement is concentrated where it appears. Positive and neutral wording are nearly equal, with one negative mention.

Its shortlist placements are modest relative to its recommendation count. No prior-period comparison is available.

Kissflow

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Kissflow mentions, recommendations and placement?

Kissflow ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 36 (7.48%); recommendations: 16 (3.33%). Top 3 placements: 2 (0.42%); first-place placements: 1 (0.21%).

Wording about the company: 16 positive, 20 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 44.4%. The net framing score was 0.44 (defined in Methodology).

20 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 12.50% were Top 3 and 6.25% were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Kissflow appears in a small fraction of answers and its recommendation count is correspondingly low, so its ratios rest on a sparse base and should be read with that qualification. Positive and neutral wording are similar in frequency, with no negative mentions.

Its placement counts are minimal, consistent with its limited presence. No prior-period comparison is available.

Tradeshift

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Tradeshift mentions, recommendations and placement?

Tradeshift ranks 10 by recommendation count. Mentions: 2 (0.42%); recommendations: 0 (0.00%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 0 positive, 2 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 0.0%. The net framing score was 0.00 (defined in Methodology).

2 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, Unavailable were Top 3 and Unavailable were first-place.

There are insufficient usable monthly observations for a prior-period comparison.

Tradeshift records zero recommendations and zero placements in this answer set, a measured result rather than a missing observation. It appears in only a couple of answers, both with neutral wording.

Because its recommendation base is zero, ratios requiring a nonzero base are undefined rather than low. No prior-period comparison is available.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Only one reporting month with verified results is shown, so the snapshot presents counts, rates and ranks together without a prior period to compare against. Monthly answer samples are separate selections, and the tracked company set has changed across earlier months.

A single month cannot establish rank stability, improvement or decline. The printed figures describe this sample only.

What the November Rankings Show

These results answer different questions. Reach asks how often a company appears at all; recommendation asks how often an answer affirmatively endorses it; placement asks where endorsements sit in the ordering; framing asks how the wording was classified. A company can be widely present yet rarely endorsed, or frequently endorsed yet rarely placed first.

The leaderboard orders by recommendation count, so it should not be read as a measure of presence, placement strength or framing quality. Ratios and shares describe the recorded answers, not customers, sales or product merit, and the single-month snapshot cannot show change over time.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Procurement Software AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

July 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. August 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. September 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. October 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some planned question categories contributed usable answers, and findings apply to the included answer set. The reporting month labels the period, but exact collection dates were not verified.

Each company is counted at most once per answer, and placement results are nested within recommendations rather than added to them. The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customer sentiment or company quality. One answer can name several companies, so company totals overlap. Monthly samples differ, and comparisons show recorded change without establishing why it occurred.
