Answer capsule

The November 2026 Car Accident Lawyers benchmark compares 10 companies across 302 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Wilshire Law Firm leads with 65 recommendations (21.52% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 124 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by recommendation count, meaning the number of reviewed AI answers that affirmatively endorsed each firm. That ordering is not the same as reach: a company can appear in many answers without being recommended in most of them, so mention counts and recommendation counts answer different questions.

Ties in recommendation count share a rank, so equal counts should be read as equal standing on this measure rather than as a hidden ordering. Placement figures are nested inside recommendations, not separate wins, and framing describes wording rather than quality.

124 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 211, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but fewer than half recommended one. That gap is the central coverage fact: appearing in an answer and being endorsed within it are distinct outcomes, and the benchmark records both.

Multiple tracked companies were recommended in a substantial minority of answers, which is why company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers containing a recommendation. Overlap is expected, and no single company's count should be read as its share of the whole answer set.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Wilshire Law Firm ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 94 (31.13%); recommendations: 65 (21.52%). Top 3 placements: 41 (13.58%); first-place placements: 14 (4.64%).

Wording about the company: 70 positive, 24 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 69.1%. The net framing score was 0.74 (defined in Methodology).

29 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 63.08% were Top 3 and 21.54% were first-place.

Wilshire Law Firm leads on recommendation count while Morgan & Morgan appears in far more answers. The contrast shows why reach and endorsement must be read separately: frequent appearance does not guarantee frequent recommendation, and a lower mention count can still accompany a higher recommendation total.

Roughly a third of Wilshire's mentions carried no recorded recommendation, so its recommendation count is a subset of its reach. Neither figure establishes why an answer endorsed a firm or withheld endorsement.

Placement describes where a recommended company appeared in an answer's ordering. Top 3 and first-place counts are subsets of recommendations, so they should never be added to recommendation totals or treated as additional endorsements.

Companies differ in how their recommendations were distributed across positions. Morgan & Morgan's recommendations were unusually concentrated in first place, while others clustered in the Top 3 without leading. These are recorded positions in AI answers, not consumer choices or conversion outcomes.

Framing classifies the wording used about each company in the reviewed answers. Positive wording dominates for most tracked firms, neutral wording is common, and negative wording is rare but present for one company. Framing is not customer sentiment, reputation or a measure of company quality.

A positive framing score does not explain why recommendations occurred, and neutral wording does not imply an answer withheld endorsement. The two measures are recorded separately because they answer different questions about the same answers.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Wilshire Law Firm's mention count rose from 83 to 94, while its recommendation count fell from 74 to 65. The recommendation rate was 25.96% and 21.52% respectively.

Wilshire Law Firm ranks first by recommendation count, with a recommendation-to-mention ratio near seven in ten, the highest among the larger firms. Its placements lean toward the Top 3 rather than first place, and its wording was positive or neutral with no negative mentions recorded.

Its mention count rose from the prior month while its recommendation count fell, so the two measures moved in opposite directions. That comparison is a recorded change between separate monthly samples and does not establish a cause.

Morgan & Morgan

Questions This Section Answers

Morgan & Morgan ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 192 (63.58%); recommendations: 52 (17.22%). Top 3 placements: 31 (10.26%); first-place placements: 26 (8.61%).

From October 2026 to November 2026, Morgan & Morgan's mention count rose from 172 to 192, while its recommendation count fell from 95 to 52. The recommendation rate was 33.33% and 17.22% respectively.

Morgan & Morgan ranks second by recommendation count, and its appearances are frequent: mentions far outnumber the answers where a recommendation was recorded. Most of its recorded recommendations were shortlist placements, with first-place placements forming a large subset of those. Wording around the company was mostly positive or neutral, with few negative mentions.

From the previous month to this one, its mention count rose while its recommendation count fell, and the recommendation rate was lower in the later sample. These are separate recorded comparisons; the change does not establish why endorsement became less frequent, and the earlier and later samples are distinct.

Its recommendations were split between the Top 3 and first place, and its wording was positive or neutral with no negatives.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

The monthly snapshots come from separate AI answer samples with differing coverage, so counts and rates should be read together rather than as a continuous series. A company's rank in one month reflects that month's recommendation counts among the firms tracked, not a stable position across time.

Changes between months show how recorded results differed; they do not establish why counts or rates moved, and smaller answer totals alone do not explain a decline.

What the November Rankings Show

The November results show that reach, recommendation, placement and framing answer different questions about the same AI answers. A firm can appear widely without being endorsed often, be endorsed often without leading, or lead without dominating first-place placements. Reading any single measure as a summary of standing would misstate what was recorded.

The leaderboard orders by recommendation count, but the surrounding measures qualify that ordering: Morgan & Morgan's reach far exceeds its endorsement share, Wilshire Law Firm pairs strong endorsement with broad appearance, and several smaller firms show high ratios on sparse bases. These are descriptions of recorded answers, not evidence about customers, sales or company quality.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

This benchmark has partial coverage: 1 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 2 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.
