Answer capsule

The November 2026 Construction Management Software benchmark compares 10 companies across 405 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Procore leads with 263 recommendations (64.94% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 303 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers affirmatively recommended them, so it measures recorded endorsement rather than overall presence. A company can appear often without being recommended, and a recommendation can sit anywhere in an answer. Ties reflect equal recommendation counts, not shared placement. Mention, recommendation, shortlist and first-place figures answer different questions and should be read separately rather than combined.

303 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 1099, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every included answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but only about three in four recommended one. Most answers that recommended a tracked company named more than one, which is why company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers carrying any recommendation. This overlap means coverage describes how often tracked names appear together, not market dominance by any single company.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Procore ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 387 (95.56%); recommendations: 263 (64.94%). Top 3 placements: 204 (50.37%); first-place placements: 173 (42.72%).

Wording about the company: 288 positive, 98 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 68.0%. The net framing score was 0.74 (defined in Methodology).

124 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 77.57% were Top 3 and 65.78% were first-place.

Procore leads on recommendation count, yet its mentions outnumber its recommendations, so presence and endorsement diverge. Wording was mostly positive, with a small neutral remainder and a single negative mention. The share of mentions that also carried a recommendation is a wording measure, not a conversion rate. Many mentions recorded no recommendation at all.

Shortlist and first-place counts are subsets of recommendations, not extra wins. Procore's recommendations were frequently placed near the top, while Buildertrend's were often shortlisted but rarely first. Companies with fewer recommendations show thinner placement bases, so their placement shares should be read with that sparsity in mind rather than as stable positions.

Framing classifies the wording surrounding each mention as positive, neutral or negative. Most companies drew largely positive or mixed wording, and negative mentions were essentially absent. Neutral wording is common for some companies, which lowers their net framing score without implying criticism. Framing describes how answers phrased a company, not customer sentiment or company quality.

Company results in detail

Procore

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Procore mentions, recommendations and placement?

Procore ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 387 (95.56%); recommendations: 263 (64.94%). Top 3 placements: 204 (50.37%); first-place placements: 173 (42.72%).

Wording about the company: 288 positive, 98 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 68.0%. The net framing score was 0.74 (defined in Methodology).

124 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 77.57% were Top 3 and 65.78% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Procore's mention count fell from 558 to 387, while its recommendation count fell from 446 to 263. The recommendation rate was 75.85% and 64.94% respectively.

Procore holds the top recommendation count with near-universal mention coverage. Its recommendations were often placed first, giving it the strongest placement profile in the set. Wording was overwhelmingly positive with almost no negative mentions. The month-to-month comparison shows both mentions and recommendations lower than the prior sample, though the changed sample does not explain why.

Buildertrend

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Buildertrend mentions, recommendations and placement?

Buildertrend ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 351 (86.67%); recommendations: 243 (60.00%). Top 3 placements: 180 (44.44%); first-place placements: 39 (9.63%).

Wording about the company: 257 positive, 94 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 69.2%. The net framing score was 0.73 (defined in Methodology).

108 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 74.07% were Top 3 and 16.05% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Buildertrend's mention count fell from 500 to 351, while its recommendation count fell from 425 to 243. The recommendation rate was 72.28% and 60.00% respectively.

Buildertrend ranks second on recommendations and appears in most answers. Its recommendations were frequently shortlisted but comparatively rarely placed first, a distinctive pattern against its high overall endorsement. Wording was positive with no negative mentions. Both mentions and recommendations were lower than the previous month's separate sample, a recorded comparison rather than a demonstrated cause.

Autodesk Construction Cloud

Questions This Section Answers

Autodesk Construction Cloud ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 398 (98.27%); recommendations: 175 (43.21%). Top 3 placements: 125 (30.86%); first-place placements: 14 (3.46%).

Wording about the company: 190 positive, 208 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 44.0%. The net framing score was 0.48 (defined in Methodology).

223 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 71.43% were Top 3 and 8.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Autodesk Construction Cloud's mention count rose from 387 to 398, while its recommendation count fell from 309 to 175. The recommendation rate was 52.55% and 43.21% respectively.

Autodesk Construction Cloud appears in nearly every answer but is recommended in fewer than half, so its reach far exceeds its endorsement. Wording was split between positive and neutral with no negatives. Among its recommendations, first-place placements were uncommon. Mentions rose slightly while recommendations fell against the prior sample, and the changed sample does not establish why.

Contractor Foreman

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Contractor Foreman mentions, recommendations and placement?

Contractor Foreman ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 222 (54.81%); recommendations: 160 (39.51%). Top 3 placements: 53 (13.09%); first-place placements: 18 (4.44%).

Wording about the company: 169 positive, 53 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 72.1%. The net framing score was 0.76 (defined in Methodology).

62 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 33.13% were Top 3 and 11.25% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Contractor Foreman's mention count fell from 269 to 222, while its recommendation count fell from 249 to 160. The recommendation rate was 42.35% and 39.51% respectively.

Contractor Foreman ranks fourth by recommendation count. It appears in a majority of the recorded answers, and a substantial share of those mentions also carried an affirmative endorsement. Wording around the company was largely positive, with the remainder neutral and none negative, so framing was favorable without establishing why endorsements occurred.

Shortlist placements and first-place placements form nested subsets of the recorded recommendations, so they should be read as position within endorsed answers rather than added to mention totals. The previous month is a separate selected sample; its lower mention and recommendation counts are a recorded comparison only, with no explanation established.

Fieldwire

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Fieldwire mentions, recommendations and placement?

Fieldwire ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 224 (55.31%); recommendations: 160 (39.51%). Top 3 placements: 48 (11.85%); first-place placements: 10 (2.47%).

Wording about the company: 171 positive, 53 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 71.4%. The net framing score was 0.76 (defined in Methodology).

64 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 30.00% were Top 3 and 6.25% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Fieldwire's mention count fell from 327 to 224, while its recommendation count fell from 281 to 160. The recommendation rate was 47.79% and 39.51% respectively.

Fieldwire ties Contractor Foreman on recommendations and shows a similar mention-to-recommendation pattern. Its recommendations were less often shortlisted and rarely placed first, giving it a thinner placement profile than its recommendation count might suggest. Wording was largely positive. Mentions and recommendations both fell against the prior sample, which does not explain the change.

Bluebeam

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Bluebeam mentions, recommendations and placement?

Bluebeam ranks 6 by recommendation count. Mentions: 97 (23.95%); recommendations: 49 (12.10%). Top 3 placements: 14 (3.46%); first-place placements: 5 (1.23%).

Wording about the company: 54 positive, 43 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 50.5%. The net framing score was 0.56 (defined in Methodology).

48 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 28.57% were Top 3 and 10.20% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Bluebeam's mention count fell from 146 to 97, while its recommendation count fell from 81 to 49. The recommendation rate was 13.78% and 12.10% respectively.

Bluebeam sits in the middle of the table with modest mention coverage and fewer recommendations. About half its mentions carried a recommendation, and first-place placements were rare. Wording leaned positive with a substantial neutral share. Both mentions and recommendations were lower than the previous month's separate sample, a comparison that carries no causal reading.

Sage Construction Management

Questions This Section Answers

Sage Construction Management ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 88 (21.73%); recommendations: 23 (5.68%). Top 3 placements: 9 (2.22%); first-place placements: 5 (1.23%).

Wording about the company: 25 positive, 63 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 26.1%. The net framing score was 0.28 (defined in Methodology).

Sage Construction Management appears in a minority of answers and is recommended in fewer still, giving it a low recommendation-to-mention ratio. Wording was mostly neutral, which keeps its net framing score modest. Among its small recommendation base, a notable share were placed first, though that share rests on few observations and should be read cautiously.

CMiC

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about CMiC mentions, recommendations and placement?

CMiC ranks 8 by recommendation count. Mentions: 41 (10.12%); recommendations: 14 (3.46%). Top 3 placements: 4 (0.99%); first-place placements: 1 (0.25%).

CMiC has limited mention coverage and few recommendations, so its rates rest on a small base. Wording was more often neutral than positive, and no negative mentions were recorded. Its recommendations were occasionally shortlisted, with first-place placements rare. Both mentions and recommendations were lower than the prior sample, a recorded comparison rather than an explanation.

Knowify

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Knowify mentions, recommendations and placement?

Knowify ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 36 (8.89%); recommendations: 12 (2.96%). Top 3 placements: 2 (0.49%); first-place placements: 1 (0.25%).

From October 2026 to November 2026, Knowify's mention count fell from 53 to 36, while its recommendation count fell from 47 to 12. The recommendation rate was 7.99% and 2.96% respectively.

Knowify appears in a small share of answers and is recommended in fewer, so its ratios rest on a sparse base. Wording was mixed between positive and neutral with no negatives. Shortlist and first-place placements were minimal. Mentions and recommendations both fell against the previous month's separate sample, and the changed sample does not establish why.

Jonas Premier

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Jonas Premier mentions, recommendations and placement?

Jonas Premier ranks 10 by recommendation count. Mentions: 16 (3.95%); recommendations: 0 (0.00%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording was almost entirely neutral, with a single positive mention. Ratios requiring a nonzero recommendation base are undefined here. Mentions rose slightly while recommendations fell to zero against the prior sample, a comparison without an established cause.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, so counts and rates are not directly comparable across months and rank stability should not be assumed. The table shows how recorded results moved over time; it does not establish why any company's counts or rates rose or fell. Months without verified results are gaps, not zero results.

What the November Rankings Show

These sections answer different questions. Reach asks how often a company appears; recommendation asks whether an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where within recommendations it sat; framing asks how the wording read. A company can be widely mentioned yet seldom recommended, or frequently recommended yet rarely placed first. Reading the measures together gives a fuller picture than any single column, while none of them establishes why answers took the shape they did.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

Reliable results for July 2026 are unavailable. This is a gap in the history, not a result of zero.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some planned question categories contributed usable answers, and findings apply to that available set. Each company counts at most once per answer, and one answer can name several companies, so company totals overlap. Recommendation requires both endorsement and positive wording. Rates use the full benchmark answer total, and shortlist and first-place results sit inside recommendations. The samples differ by month, and the comparisons do not establish causes.
