Answer capsule

The November 2026 Inventory Management Software benchmark compares 10 companies across 642 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Zoho Inventory leads with 501 recommendations (78.04% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 584 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers recorded an affirmative recommendation. That count is not the same as reach: a company can appear in more answers than it is endorsed in, so mention counts and recommendation counts answer different questions. Placement adds another layer, since shortlist and first-place results are subsets of recommendations rather than separate wins. Ties in recommendation count would share a rank; the printed table shows the recorded ordering.

584 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 2701, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Coverage here is overlapping, not exclusive. Most qualified answers named and recommended more than one tracked company, so company totals sum to more than the number of answers. The small group of answers with no tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison. High coverage therefore describes how often tracked names appear across answers, not that any one company dominates the market.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Zoho Inventory ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 554 (86.29%); recommendations: 501 (78.04%). Top 3 placements: 343 (53.43%); first-place placements: 197 (30.69%).

Wording about the company: 503 positive, 51 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 90.4%. The net framing score was 0.91 (defined in Methodology).

53 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 68.46% were Top 3 and 39.32% were first-place.

Mention means the company appeared in an answer; recommendation means the answer affirmatively endorsed it. Zoho Inventory's mentions exceeded its recommendations, leaving a portion of appearances without endorsement. The recommendation-to-mention ratio summarizes that gap within the recorded answers. It is a wording measure, not evidence about customers, sales or conversion, and it does not explain why some mentions lacked endorsement.

Placement describes where a recommended company sat in an answer's ordering. Shortlist and first-place counts are nested inside recommendations, so they should not be added to recommendation totals or read as extra wins. A company can be recommended often yet rarely placed first, and the printed counts show that pattern varies. Placement reflects answer framing, not purchase behavior.

Framing classifies the wording surrounding each mention as positive, neutral or negative. It is not customer sentiment, reputation or a judgment of company quality. Neutral wording is common and does not imply weak endorsement; negative wording is rare in these answers. The net framing score condenses that balance, but it cannot explain why recommendations occurred or did not occur.

Zoho Inventory

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Zoho Inventory mentions, recommendations and placement?

From October 2026 to November 2026, Zoho Inventory's mention count fell from 575 to 554, while its recommendation count fell from 509 to 501. The recommendation rate was 72.82% and 78.04% respectively.

Zoho Inventory leads on recommendation count and also records the highest mention total, with most appearances carrying an endorsement. Its placements skew toward the top of answer orderings, and nearly all wording is positive. The month-to-month comparison shows both counts lower than the prior sample while the recommendation rate was higher; separate samples limit causal reading.

Cin7

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Cin7 mentions, recommendations and placement?

Cin7 ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 461 (71.81%); recommendations: 416 (64.80%). Top 3 placements: 241 (37.54%); first-place placements: 69 (10.75%).

Wording about the company: 419 positive, 41 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 90.2%. The net framing score was 0.91 (defined in Methodology).

45 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 57.93% were Top 3 and 16.59% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Cin7's mention count rose from 439 to 461, while its recommendation count rose from 384 to 416. The recommendation rate was 54.94% and 64.80% respectively.

Cin7 holds second place by recommendation count, with a recommendation-to-mention ratio close to the leader's. Its shortlist placements are frequent but first-place appearances are comparatively uncommon, so endorsement and top positioning diverge. Wording is overwhelmingly positive. Both counts rose from the prior sample, and the rate rose alongside them; the samples differ, so no cause is established.

NetSuite

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about NetSuite mentions, recommendations and placement?

NetSuite ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 448 (69.78%); recommendations: 379 (59.03%). Top 3 placements: 105 (16.36%); first-place placements: 54 (8.41%).

Wording about the company: 381 positive, 65 neutral, 2 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 84.6%. The net framing score was 0.85 (defined in Methodology).

69 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 27.70% were Top 3 and 14.25% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, NetSuite's mention count rose from 407 to 448, while its recommendation count rose from 317 to 379. The recommendation rate was 45.35% and 59.03% respectively.

NetSuite ranks third on recommendations but shows a wider gap between mentions and endorsements than the leaders, and its placements are concentrated lower in answer orderings. Neutral wording appears more often here than for most peers. Counts and rate all rose from the prior sample, a recorded comparison only; the changed sample does not show why.

Katana

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Katana mentions, recommendations and placement?

Katana ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 380 (59.19%); recommendations: 349 (54.36%). Top 3 placements: 150 (23.36%); first-place placements: 13 (2.02%).

Wording about the company: 351 positive, 29 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 91.8%. The net framing score was 0.92 (defined in Methodology).

31 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 42.98% were Top 3 and 3.72% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Katana's mention count rose from 360 to 380, while its recommendation count rose from 336 to 349. The recommendation rate was 48.07% and 54.36% respectively.

Katana pairs a high recommendation-to-mention ratio with very few first-place appearances, so it is frequently endorsed without being placed at the top. Wording is almost entirely positive. Both counts rose from the prior sample and the rate rose with them. Because the monthly samples differ, these are recorded changes rather than demonstrated gains in standing.

Sortly

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Sortly mentions, recommendations and placement?

Sortly ranks 5 by recommendation count. Mentions: 376 (58.57%); recommendations: 335 (52.18%). Top 3 placements: 156 (24.30%); first-place placements: 54 (8.41%).

Wording about the company: 335 positive, 40 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 89.1%. The net framing score was 0.89 (defined in Methodology).

41 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 46.57% were Top 3 and 16.12% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Sortly's mention count fell from 389 to 376, while its recommendation count fell from 340 to 335. The recommendation rate was 48.64% and 52.18% respectively.

Sortly ranks fifth by recommendation count, appearing in a majority of recorded answers and drawing affirmative endorsement in most of those appearances. Wording around the company is overwhelmingly positive, with few neutral or negative mentions, and most mentions that include a recommendation also place it on a shortlist. First-place placements form a smaller subset of those shortlist positions.

Between the October and November samples, both mention and recommendation counts were lower while the recommendation rate was higher. These are separate selected snapshots, and the differing bases mean the movements should not be read as a single trend or as evidence of cause.

inFlow Inventory

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about inFlow Inventory mentions, recommendations and placement?

inFlow Inventory ranks 6 by recommendation count. Mentions: 363 (56.54%); recommendations: 330 (51.40%). Top 3 placements: 183 (28.50%); first-place placements: 51 (7.94%).

Wording about the company: 331 positive, 32 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 90.9%. The net framing score was 0.91 (defined in Methodology).

33 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 55.45% were Top 3 and 15.45% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, inFlow Inventory's mention count fell from 374 to 363, while its recommendation count fell from 347 to 330. The recommendation rate was 49.64% and 51.40% respectively.

inFlow Inventory records a strong recommendation-to-mention ratio and a notable share of shortlist placements relative to its recommendation total. Wording is almost entirely positive. Both counts fell from the prior sample while the rate edged higher, so the count and rate movements point in different directions. The separate samples do not explain that pattern.

Fishbowl

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Fishbowl mentions, recommendations and placement?

Fishbowl ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 273 (42.52%); recommendations: 223 (34.74%). Top 3 placements: 81 (12.62%); first-place placements: 14 (2.18%).

Wording about the company: 224 positive, 48 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 81.7%. The net framing score was 0.82 (defined in Methodology).

50 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 36.32% were Top 3 and 6.28% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Fishbowl's mention count fell from 323 to 273, while its recommendation count fell from 247 to 223. The recommendation rate was 35.34% and 34.74% respectively.

Fishbowl ranks seventh, and its recommendation-to-mention ratio is lower than most peers, meaning a larger share of its appearances carried no endorsement. Neutral wording is relatively common. Both counts fell from the prior sample while the rate was essentially flat. These are recorded comparisons across different samples, not evidence of lost standing.

Ordoro

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Ordoro mentions, recommendations and placement?

Ordoro ranks 8 by recommendation count. Mentions: 88 (13.71%); recommendations: 79 (12.31%). Top 3 placements: 19 (2.96%); first-place placements: 4 (0.62%).

Wording about the company: 79 positive, 9 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 89.8%. The net framing score was 0.90 (defined in Methodology).

9 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 24.05% were Top 3 and 5.06% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Ordoro's mention count rose from 76 to 88, while its recommendation count rose from 68 to 79. The recommendation rate was 9.73% and 12.31% respectively.

Ordoro's totals are modest, so its rates rest on a smaller base and should be read with that in mind. Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is high, but shortlist and first-place placements are rare. Wording is mostly positive. Both counts rose from the prior sample, and the rate rose with them; the changed sample does not establish why.

Unleashed

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Unleashed mentions, recommendations and placement?

Unleashed ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 78 (12.15%); recommendations: 50 (7.79%). Top 3 placements: 15 (2.34%); first-place placements: 1 (0.16%).

Wording about the company: 51 positive, 27 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 64.1%. The net framing score was 0.65 (defined in Methodology).

28 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 30.00% were Top 3 and 2.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Unleashed's mention count rose from 68 to 78, while its recommendation count rose from 40 to 50. The recommendation rate was 5.72% and 7.79% respectively.

Unleashed has one of the lowest recommendation-to-mention ratios in the set, with a substantial share of neutral wording and almost no first-place appearances. Its counts are small, so ratios are sensitive to modest shifts. Both counts rose from the prior sample and the rate rose alongside them. These are recorded changes in separate samples, not demonstrated improvement.

Brightpearl

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Brightpearl mentions, recommendations and placement?

Brightpearl ranks 10 by recommendation count. Mentions: 50 (7.79%); recommendations: 39 (6.07%). Top 3 placements: 15 (2.34%); first-place placements: 2 (0.31%).

Wording about the company: 39 positive, 11 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 78.0%. The net framing score was 0.78 (defined in Methodology).

11 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 38.46% were Top 3 and 5.13% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Brightpearl's mention count fell from 61 to 50, while its recommendation count fell from 44 to 39. The recommendation rate was 6.29% and 6.07% respectively.

Brightpearl records the smallest totals in the set, so its ratios rest on a sparse base and warrant caution. Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is moderate, with few shortlist and first-place placements. Wording is mostly positive with some neutral mentions. Both counts fell from the prior sample while the rate was nearly flat; the samples differ, so no cause is inferred.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, and the number of included answers differs across months, so counts and rates are not directly interchangeable between periods. Rank changes across snapshots describe the recorded ordering only. The missing August results are a gap in the history, not a zero, and no month establishes a trend on its own.

What the November Rankings Show

These sections answer different questions. Reach asks how often a company appeared; recommendation asks whether the answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where an endorsement sat in the ordering; framing asks how the wording was classified. A company can be widely mentioned yet less often endorsed, or frequently endorsed yet rarely placed first. Reading the measures together describes the recorded answers without establishing why any pattern occurred or what it implies for customers.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

Reliable results for August 2026 are unavailable. This is a gap in the history, not a result of zero.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: findings apply to the available answer set, and the exact collection dates are unverified. Each company counts at most once per answer, and one answer can cover several companies, so totals overlap. Recommendation requires both endorsement and positive wording. Placement results are nested within recommendations. Ratios and framing scores describe answer wording, not customers, sales or company quality, and monthly samples differ, so comparisons show recorded change without explaining it.
