Answer capsule
The November 2026 Fleet Tracking Software benchmark compares 6 companies across 444 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Samsara leads with 319 recommendations (71.85% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 346 answers; some answers recommended several companies.
The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

Questions This Section Answers
- How do Fleet Tracking Software rank by recorded AI recommendations in November 2026?
Rank | Company | Recommendations | Recommendation rate | Mention rate | Top 3 rate | #1 rate | Net sentiment |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Samsara | 319 | 71.85% | 96.85% | 63.96% | 42.12% | 0.76 |
2 | Verizon Connect | 283 | 63.74% | 88.51% | 40.32% | 10.14% | 0.73 |
3 | One Step GPS | 115 | 25.90% | 27.03% | 14.41% | 8.11% | 0.97 |
4 | Azuga | 102 | 22.97% | 31.76% | 6.76% | 0.68% | 0.72 |
5 | Linxup | 88 | 19.82% | 23.20% | 6.08% | 0.23% | 0.87 |
6 | GPS Insight | 27 | 6.08% | 10.59% | 2.03% | 0.45% | 0.62 |
The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers recorded an affirmative recommendation, so it measures endorsement volume rather than mere appearance. A company can be mentioned often yet recommended less often, and the two columns should be read separately.
Ties are decided by equal recommendation counts, not by framing or placement. Top-three and first-place results are nested inside recommendations, so they refine where a company sits within an answer rather than adding new wins.

Questions This Section Answers
- How often did the November 2026 Fleet Tracking Software answer sample recommend any tracked company?
Answer-level result | Qualified answers | Share of qualified answers |
|---|---|---|
At least one tracked company mentioned | 444 | 100.00% |
At least one tracked company recommended | 346 | 77.93% |
No tracked company recommended | 98 | 22.07% |
Multiple tracked companies recommended | 324 | 72.97% |
346 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 934, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.
Coverage describes how often the tracked companies appear together in the same answers. Most qualified answers named at least one tracked company, and a large majority recommended one or more, while a smaller group recommended none.
Because a single answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers carrying any recommendation. Overlap is therefore expected and does not indicate market dominance.
Reach and affirmative recommendation
Samsara ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 430 (96.85%); recommendations: 319 (71.85%). Top 3 placements: 284 (63.96%); first-place placements: 187 (42.12%).
Wording about the company: 333 positive, 90 neutral, 7 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 74.2%. The net framing score was 0.76 (defined in Methodology).
111 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 89.03% were Top 3 and 58.62% were first-place.
Reach separates being named from being affirmatively endorsed. Samsara was mentioned in nearly every answer and recommended in most, leaving a meaningful share of mentions without a recorded recommendation.
Among its recorded recommendations, a majority were placed in the top three and a substantial share first. These are nested subsets of the same recommendation base, not additional endorsements, and the gap between mention and recommendation is a wording distinction rather than a measure of preference.
Recommendation order and placement
Company | Mentions | Recommendation-to-mention ratio | Top 3 / #1 counts | Positive / neutral / negative mentions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Samsara | 430 | 74.2% | 284 / 187 | 333 / 90 / 7 |
Verizon Connect | 393 | 72.0% | 179 / 45 | 291 / 97 / 5 |
One Step GPS | 120 | 95.8% | 64 / 36 | 116 / 4 / 0 |
Azuga | 141 | 72.3% | 30 / 3 | 103 / 37 / 1 |
Linxup | 103 | 85.4% | 27 / 1 | 90 / 13 / 0 |
GPS Insight | 47 | 57.4% | 9 / 2 | 29 / 18 / 0 |
Placement describes where a recommended company appeared in the answer's ordering. Top-three and first-place counts are subsets of recommendations, so they should never be summed with mentions or recommendations.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio varies widely across companies, from high endorsement density to more mixed patterns. A high ratio on a small mention base is less stable than the same ratio on a large one, and none of these figures represent customer conversion.
Classified framing in context
Company | Positive | Neutral | Negative |
|---|---|---|---|
Samsara | 333 | 90 | 7 |
Verizon Connect | 291 | 97 | 5 |
One Step GPS | 116 | 4 | 0 |
Azuga | 103 | 37 | 1 |
Linxup | 90 | 13 | 0 |
GPS Insight | 29 | 18 | 0 |
Framing records the wording attached to each mention: positive, neutral or negative. It is a description of language in the selected answers, not a measure of customer sentiment, reputation or company quality.
Most mentions across companies carried positive wording, with neutral wording common and negative wording rare. Positive framing does not establish why a recommendation was or was not recorded, and neutral wording is not evidence of weak standing.

GPS Insight ranks sixth by recommendation count on the smallest mention base in the set. Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is the lowest recorded, meaning a larger share of its mentions lacked an affirmative endorsement.
Placements are modest in both top-three and first-place terms, and framing is mostly positive with a sizeable neutral share. The recommendation count was unchanged month over month while the rate shifted slightly because the answer total differed; that is arithmetic, not a change in standing.

The monthly snapshots are separate selected samples of AI answers, each with its own answer total. Counts, rates and ranks should be read together, since a rate depends on the denominator for that month.
Rank order across months describes the recorded results only. It does not establish rank stability, equivalent sampling or the reasons behind any movement.

What the November Rankings Show
The November results answer several distinct questions. Reach asks how often a company appeared at all; recommendation asks whether the answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where that endorsement sat within the ordering; and framing describes the wording around the mention.
These measures can diverge. A company may be widely mentioned yet recommended less often, or recommended consistently but rarely placed first. Because placements are nested inside recommendations, they refine rather than add to the endorsement totals.
Framing is not sentiment, and ratios describe recorded answers rather than customers or sales. Read together, the measures describe the selected AI answers, not verified product facts or the reasons recommendations occurred.
Methodology
Questions This Section Answers
- How were the November 2026 Fleet Tracking Software AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?
This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.
The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.
Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.
Market: US; 6 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.
Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):
Screening measure | Count |
|---|---|
Answers included in the benchmark | 444 |
Answers marked relevant during screening | 700 |
Answers marked reserved (screening label) | 256 |
Answers marked irrelevant during screening | 100 |
Captured answer observations | 800 |
Distinct questions | 506 |
Answer observations marked as mentioning a brand | 800 |
The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.
One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.
Monthly sample coverage:
Reporting month | Answers included | AI services covered | Services |
|---|---|---|---|
Sep 2026 | 484 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Oct 2026 | 446 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Nov 2026 | 444 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.
Coverage is partial: usable observations came from all planned question categories, which describes category coverage rather than platform outages. The reporting month is a label; exact collection dates were not verified.
Each company is counted at most once per answer, and a recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Rates use the full benchmark answer total, and top-three and first-place results are included within recommendations.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customer satisfaction or company quality. One answer can name several companies, so company totals overlap. Monthly samples differ, so comparisons show recorded change without establishing why it occurred.
