Answer capsule

The November 2026 Criminal Defense Lawyers benchmark compares 10 companies across 61 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Kraut Law Group leads with 13 recommendations (21.31% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 27 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many recorded answers affirmatively recommended them. That count is not the same as reach: a company can appear in many answers without being endorsed, so mention totals and recommendation totals answer different questions. Ties reflect equal recommendation counts, not shared placement or framing. Placement figures are nested inside recommendations, so first-place and shortlist counts should be read as subsets rather than additional wins.

27 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 35, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, yet fewer than half recommended one. That gap separates appearance from endorsement: being named in an answer is not the same as being put forward. Multiple tracked companies appeared together in some answers, so company totals overlap and cannot be summed into a market share. Answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named firms outside this comparison.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Kraut Law Group ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 23 (37.70%); recommendations: 13 (21.31%). Top 3 placements: 11 (18.03%); first-place placements: 7 (11.48%).

Wording about the company: 13 positive, 10 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 56.5%. The net framing score was 0.57 (defined in Methodology).

10 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 84.62% were Top 3 and 53.85% were first-place.

Kraut Law Group leads on recommendation count, but its mentions outnumber its recommendations, so reach and endorsement diverge. The share of its mentions that also carried a recommendation sits above half, meaning a substantial portion of appearances were descriptive rather than affirmative. Placement counts are drawn from the recommended subset, so first-place results should not be read as a separate measure of overall presence.

Placement describes where a recommended company sat in the recorded answer, not how often it appeared. Because shortlist and first-place counts are contained within recommendations, they cannot be added to recommendation totals. Ratios of recommendations to mentions vary widely across companies, and where mention bases are small those ratios should be read cautiously rather than as stable tendencies.

Framing records the wording used around a company in the selected answers: positive, neutral or negative. It is not customer sentiment, reputation or a judgment of company quality, and neutral wording does not show why a recommendation was or was not made. Most companies here drew no negative wording, but that absence alone does not explain their differing recommendation counts.

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Kraut Law Group mentions, recommendations and placement?

Kraut Law Group holds the top recommendation count, with mentions well ahead of endorsements and a majority of its appearances framed positively. Its recommended answers were mostly placed near the top of the response. The October-to-November comparison shows both mentions and recommendations lower, while the recommendation rate was broadly similar; the smaller November sample limits what that shift can be taken to mean.

The Rodriguez Law Group

Questions This Section Answers

The Rodriguez Law Group ranks second on recommendations, and every recorded mention of it also carried an endorsement, all framed positively. Its placements were mostly within the shortlist, with few first-place results. Both mentions and recommendations were lower than in October, and the recommendation rate also eased; the changed sample does not establish why.

Esfandi Law Group

Questions This Section Answers

Both mentions and recommendations were higher than in October, though the small counts mean the movement should be read as a recorded comparison rather than a trend.

Goldstein Mehta's mentions were evenly split between positive and neutral wording, and half of them carried a recommendation. Every one of its recommended answers placed it in the shortlist and in first position, a pattern resting on few observations. Mentions were unchanged from October while recommendations dipped slightly; the rate moved with the smaller answer base rather than demonstrating a change in standing.

Spodek Law Group appeared in more answers than most peers but was recommended in only a quarter of them, with neutral wording outnumbering positive. Its few recommendations were all placed in the shortlist and first position. Mentions and recommendations were both markedly lower than in October, and the recommendation rate fell as well; the separate samples do not explain that movement.

Wallin & Klarich

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Wallin & Klarich mentions, recommendations and placement?

Wallin & Klarich ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 7 (11.48%); recommendations: 3 (4.92%). Top 3 placements: 3 (4.92%); first-place placements: 3 (4.92%).

Wallin & Klarich drew a mix of positive and neutral wording, with fewer than half of its mentions carrying a recommendation. Its small set of recommendations all landed in the shortlist and first position. Mentions fell sharply from October while recommendations eased more gently, leaving the recommendation rate close to its earlier level; the differing samples limit causal reading.

The Cochran Firm

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about The Cochran Firm mentions, recommendations and placement?

The Cochran Firm ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 7 (11.48%); recommendations: 2 (3.28%). Top 3 placements: 2 (3.28%); first-place placements: 1 (1.64%).

Wording about the company: 3 positive, 4 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 28.6%. The net framing score was 0.43 (defined in Methodology).

5 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 100.00% were Top 3 and 50.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, The Cochran Firm's mention count fell from 11 to 7, while its recommendation count fell from 8 to 2. The recommendation rate was 6.20% and 3.28% respectively.

The Cochran Firm was mentioned more often than it was recommended, with neutral wording slightly outnumbering positive. Its recommendations were all shortlisted, and half reached first position. Both mentions and recommendations were lower than in October, and the recommendation rate declined; because the monthly samples differ, the comparison describes recorded results rather than a demonstrated cause.

Greg Hill & Associates

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Greg Hill & Associates mentions, recommendations and placement?

Greg Hill & Associates ranks 8 by recommendation count. Mentions: 1 (1.64%); recommendations: 1 (1.64%). Top 3 placements: 1 (1.64%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 1 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 100.0%. The net framing score was 1.00 (defined in Methodology).

0 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 100.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Greg Hill & Associates' mention count fell from 10 to 1, while its recommendation count stayed at 1. The recommendation rate was 0.78% and 1.64% respectively. The count was unchanged: the rate difference comes from dividing it by 129 answers in October 2026 and 61 in November.

Greg Hill & Associates rests on a single mention, which was positive and carried a recommendation placed in the shortlist but not first. With such a sparse base, the full recommendation-to-mention ratio should be read cautiously. Its recommendation count matched October while mentions fell, and the rate difference follows from dividing the same count by a smaller answer total.

Chambers Law Firm

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Chambers Law Firm mentions, recommendations and placement?

Chambers Law Firm ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 4 (6.56%); recommendations: 0 (0.00%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 0 positive, 4 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 0.0%. The net framing score was 0.00 (defined in Methodology).

4 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, Unavailable were Top 3 and Unavailable were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Chambers Law Firm's mention count rose from 2 to 4, while its recommendation count fell from 2 to 0. The recommendation rate was 1.55% and 0.00% respectively.

Chambers Law Firm was mentioned in a handful of answers, all framed neutrally, and none carried a recommendation. Its placement counts are therefore zero, a measured result rather than a missing observation. Mentions rose from October while recommendations fell to none; the small counts and differing samples mean the shift should not be read as a change in standing.

Monder Criminal Lawyer Group

Questions This Section Answers

Monder Criminal Lawyer Group ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 0 (0.00%); recommendations: 0 (0.00%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 0 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was Unavailable. The net framing score was Unavailable (defined in Methodology).

0 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, Unavailable were Top 3 and Unavailable were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Monder Criminal Lawyer Group's mention count fell from 2 to 0, while its recommendation count fell from 2 to 0. The recommendation rate was 1.55% and 0.00% respectively.

Monder Criminal Lawyer Group recorded no mentions and no recommendations in November, so its placement counts are zero and ratios requiring a nonzero base are undefined. This is a valid measured zero, not a missing observation. It had appeared in a small number of October answers; the separate samples do not establish why the November result differs.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, with differing answer totals and services covered, so counts and rates are not directly comparable across columns. A lower count can accompany a higher rate when the base shrinks. The monthly figures show how recorded results moved; they do not establish rank stability, equivalent sampling or the reasons behind any change.

What the November Rankings Show

These measures answer different questions. Mentions show whether a company appeared at all; recommendations show whether the answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement shows where an endorsement sat; framing shows the wording around it. A company can be visible without being recommended, or recommended without leading the response, so no single column captures standing. The ratios describe the recorded answers only, not customers, sales or conversion, and the differing monthly samples limit what comparisons across months can support.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Criminal Defense Lawyers AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews.

Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some planned question categories contributed usable answers, and the collection dates for the original answers are unverified. Each company counts at most once per answer, and placement results sit inside recommendations rather than alongside them. Recommendation-to-mention ratios and net framing describe answer wording, not customer satisfaction or company quality. Monthly samples differ in size and services covered, so comparisons show recorded change without establishing its cause.
