Answer capsule

The November 2026 Flood Insurance benchmark compares 10 companies across 160 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Chubb leads with 89 recommendations (55.63% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 113 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers affirmatively recommended them, so it measures recorded endorsement rather than general visibility. A company can appear often without being recommended, and a company can be recommended without appearing in many answers. Ties in recommendation counts would share a rank; none are reported here. Placement and framing are separate readings, not extra points on this scale.

113 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 325, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every included answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but only a majority of answers recommended one. Because a single answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers carrying any recommendation. Answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison, so coverage describes the tracked set rather than the whole market.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Chubb ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 118 (73.75%); recommendations: 89 (55.63%). Top 3 placements: 45 (28.13%); first-place placements: 2 (1.25%).

Wording about the company: 90 positive, 28 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 75.4%. The net framing score was 0.76 (defined in Methodology).

29 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 50.56% were Top 3 and 2.25% were first-place.

Chubb leads on recommendation count, yet Allstate appears in more answers. That gap shows why mention and recommendation are distinct measures: presence in an answer is not endorsement. Chubb's mentions more often carried a recommendation than Allstate's did. Neither pattern establishes why the answers differed, and the ranking reflects recorded counts, not a unique winner by every measure.

Top-three and first-place results are nested inside recommendations, not added to them. A company recommended often may still rarely appear near the top of an answer, and a company with fewer recommendations can place highly within them. These positions describe where endorsements fell in the recorded wording, not customer preference, sales or conversion.

Framing classifies how each mention was worded, separately from whether it carried a recommendation. Neutral wording is common for some companies and rare for others, and negative wording appears only sparingly. A favorable framing score describes the recorded wording alone; it does not show that customers hold that view, nor does it explain why recommendations occurred or did not occur in these answers.

Company results in detail

Chubb

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Chubb mentions, recommendations and placement?

Chubb ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 118 (73.75%); recommendations: 89 (55.63%). Top 3 placements: 45 (28.13%); first-place placements: 2 (1.25%).

Wording about the company: 90 positive, 28 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 75.4%. The net framing score was 0.76 (defined in Methodology).

29 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 50.56% were Top 3 and 2.25% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Chubb's mention count fell from 216 to 118, while its recommendation count fell from 174 to 89. The recommendation rate was 67.18% and 55.63% respectively.

Chubb holds the top recommendation count and the widest mention reach among the leaders, with framing overwhelmingly positive and no negative mentions recorded. Most of its mentions also carried a recommendation, though a substantial minority did not. Its first-place placements are rare relative to its shortlist placements, so its strength is breadth of endorsement rather than top positioning.

Allstate

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Allstate mentions, recommendations and placement?

Allstate ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 133 (83.13%); recommendations: 71 (44.38%). Top 3 placements: 22 (13.75%); first-place placements: 5 (3.13%).

Wording about the company: 80 positive, 50 neutral, 3 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 53.4%. The net framing score was 0.58 (defined in Methodology).

62 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 30.99% were Top 3 and 7.04% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Allstate's mention count fell from 232 to 133, while its recommendation count fell from 147 to 71. The recommendation rate was 56.76% and 44.38% respectively.

Allstate appears in a large share of the selected answers and is recommended in a substantial portion of them, ranking second by recommendation count. Wording is mostly positive with a small number of negative mentions. Shortlist placements are modest, and first-place placements form a smaller subset of those. Many mentions carried no recorded recommendation, so visibility and endorsement diverge here.

Neptune Flood

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Neptune Flood mentions, recommendations and placement?

Neptune Flood ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 52 (32.50%); recommendations: 43 (26.88%). Top 3 placements: 39 (24.38%); first-place placements: 28 (17.50%).

Wording about the company: 44 positive, 8 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 82.7%. The net framing score was 0.85 (defined in Methodology).

9 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 90.70% were Top 3 and 65.12% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Neptune Flood's mention count fell from 54 to 52, while its recommendation count rose from 42 to 43. The recommendation rate was 16.22% and 26.88% respectively.

Neptune Flood reaches fewer answers than the two leaders but is recommended in most of the answers where it appears. Its placements are unusually concentrated near the top, with first-place results forming a large share of its recommendations. That combination of narrower reach and strong positioning distinguishes it from companies with broader but less affirmative coverage.

Wright Flood

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Wright Flood mentions, recommendations and placement?

Wright Flood ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 48 (30.00%); recommendations: 39 (24.38%). Top 3 placements: 20 (12.50%); first-place placements: 2 (1.25%).

Wording about the company: 39 positive, 9 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 81.3%. The net framing score was 0.81 (defined in Methodology).

9 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 51.28% were Top 3 and 5.13% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Wright Flood's mention count rose from 36 to 48, while its recommendation count rose from 29 to 39. The recommendation rate was 11.20% and 24.38% respectively.

Wright Flood shows a similar pattern to Neptune Flood at smaller scale: moderate reach, a high share of mentions carrying recommendations, and mostly positive framing. Its shortlist placements are frequent relative to its recommendation count, while first-place placements are rare. It sits in the upper middle of the ranking on recorded endorsements.

Aon Edge

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Aon Edge mentions, recommendations and placement?

Aon Edge ranks 5 by recommendation count. Mentions: 31 (19.38%); recommendations: 29 (18.13%). Top 3 placements: 15 (9.38%); first-place placements: 2 (1.25%).

Wording about the company: 29 positive, 2 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 93.5%. The net framing score was 0.94 (defined in Methodology).

2 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 51.72% were Top 3 and 6.90% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Aon Edge's mention count rose from 21 to 31, while its recommendation count rose from 15 to 29. The recommendation rate was 5.79% and 18.13% respectively.

Aon Edge has the highest recommendation-to-mention ratio among the larger tracked companies, meaning nearly every answer that named it also endorsed it. Its framing is almost entirely positive. Reach remains comparatively limited, so this strong ratio rests on a modest base of mentions and should be read alongside that smaller volume rather than as broad market presence.

Assurant

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Assurant mentions, recommendations and placement?

Assurant ranks 6 by recommendation count. Mentions: 35 (21.88%); recommendations: 19 (11.88%). Top 3 placements: 4 (2.50%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 22 positive, 13 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 54.3%. The net framing score was 0.63 (defined in Methodology).

16 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 21.05% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Assurant's mention count rose from 24 to 35, while its recommendation count rose from 12 to 19. The recommendation rate was 4.63% and 11.88% respectively.

Assurant appears in a moderate share of answers and is recommended in roughly half of those appearances, ranking sixth by recommendation count. Wording is positive or neutral, with no negative mentions. Shortlist placements are infrequent and no first-place placements were recorded. Its profile is one of moderate visibility with endorsement present but not dominant.

FEMA NFIP

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about FEMA NFIP mentions, recommendations and placement?

FEMA NFIP ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 68 (42.50%); recommendations: 17 (10.63%). Top 3 placements: 4 (2.50%); first-place placements: 3 (1.88%).

Wording about the company: 17 positive, 51 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 25.0%. The net framing score was 0.25 (defined in Methodology).

51 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 23.53% were Top 3 and 17.65% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, FEMA NFIP's mention count rose from 60 to 68, while its recommendation count rose from 9 to 17. The recommendation rate was 3.47% and 10.63% respectively.

FEMA NFIP is mentioned frequently but recommended in only a quarter of those mentions, the lowest conversion among the more visible companies. Its framing is predominantly neutral, and it records a small number of first-place placements. The gap between its reach and its endorsement rate is the most pronounced in the tracked set.

Palomar

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Palomar mentions, recommendations and placement?

Palomar ranks 8 by recommendation count. Mentions: 16 (10.00%); recommendations: 16 (10.00%). Top 3 placements: 5 (3.13%); first-place placements: 1 (0.63%).

Wording about the company: 16 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 100.0%. The net framing score was 1.00 (defined in Methodology).

0 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 31.25% were Top 3 and 6.25% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Palomar's mention count fell from 20 to 16, while its recommendation count fell from 19 to 16. The recommendation rate was 7.34% and 10.00% respectively.

Palomar's mentions are few but every one carried a recommendation, and all framing was positive. Shortlist placements are a modest share of its recommendations, with a single first-place result. Because the base is small, the perfect recommendation-to-mention ratio should be read as a narrow observation rather than a stable pattern.

Hiscox Usa

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Hiscox Usa mentions, recommendations and placement?

Hiscox Usa ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 2 (1.25%); recommendations: 2 (1.25%). Top 3 placements: 1 (0.63%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 2 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 100.0%. The net framing score was 1.00 (defined in Methodology).

0 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 50.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Hiscox Usa's mention count stayed at 2, while its recommendation count rose from 1 to 2. The recommendation rate was 0.39% and 1.25% respectively.

Hiscox Usa registers only a handful of mentions, each carrying a recommendation and positive framing. One shortlist placement is recorded and no first-place results. With such a sparse base, the ratios describe a very small set of answers and cannot support broader conclusions about the company's standing.

The Flood Insurance Agency

Questions This Section Answers

The Flood Insurance Agency ranks 10 by recommendation count. Mentions: 0 (0.00%); recommendations: 0 (0.00%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 0 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was Unavailable. The net framing score was Unavailable (defined in Methodology).

0 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, Unavailable were Top 3 and Unavailable were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, The Flood Insurance Agency's mention count fell from 4 to 0, while its recommendation count fell from 2 to 0. The recommendation rate was 0.77% and 0.00% respectively.

The Flood Insurance Agency records no mentions, recommendations or placements in the November answers. These are measured zeros rather than missing observations. Ratios that require a nonzero mention base are therefore undefined for this company, and the absence describes only this answer set, not the company's actual market position.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, and the number of included answers differs across months, so counts and rates are not directly comparable in scale. Rank changes across months describe the recorded ordering only. A shift in count or rate does not by itself demonstrate improvement, decline or the effect of any action.

What the November Rankings Show

These measures answer different questions. Reach asks how often a company appears; recommendation asks whether an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where within an endorsement it fell; framing asks how the wording read. A company can be visible without being recommended, or recommended strongly within a narrow set of answers. Reading the measures together gives a fuller picture than any single ranking, while none of them establishes why the answers took the shape they did.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

July 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. August 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some planned question categories contributed usable answers, and the exact collection dates are unverified. Each company counts at most once per answer, and one answer may name several companies, so company totals overlap. Rates use the included answer total as denominator. Framing and recommendation-to-mention ratios describe answer wording, not customers, sales or company quality, and monthly samples differ, so comparisons show recorded change without explaining it.
