Answer capsule
The November 2026 Auto Refinance Loans benchmark compares 10 companies across 601 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. myAutoloan leads with 194 recommendations (32.28% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 350 answers; some answers recommended several companies.
The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many recorded answers affirmatively recommended them. That count is not the same as reach: a company can appear in many answers without being endorsed in most of them. Ties in recommendation count would share a rank, so equal counts should not be read as a unique ordering.
Mentions, recommendations, shortlist placements and first-place placements answer different questions. Placements are nested inside recommendations rather than added to them, and recommendation rates use the full answer total. Reading the columns together shows where a company is present, endorsed, and placed early.

Questions This Section Answers
- How often did the November 2026 Auto Refinance Loans answer sample recommend any tracked company?
Answer-level result | Qualified answers | Share of qualified answers |
|---|---|---|
At least one tracked company mentioned | 601 | 100.00% |
At least one tracked company recommended | 350 | 58.24% |
No tracked company recommended | 251 | 41.76% |
Multiple tracked companies recommended | 307 | 51.08% |
350 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 1004, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.
Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but only a portion recommended one. Because a single answer can endorse several companies, company-level recommendation counts sum to more than the number of answers carrying any recommendation. That overlap is expected and does not indicate market dominance.
Answers without a tracked recommendation are not empty of advice; they may have named companies outside this comparison. Coverage therefore describes the tracked set within these answers, not the whole refinance market.
Reach and affirmative recommendation
myAutoloan ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 362 (60.23%); recommendations: 194 (32.28%). Top 3 placements: 111 (18.47%); first-place placements: 37 (6.16%).
Wording about the company: 205 positive, 157 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 53.6%. The net framing score was 0.57 (defined in Methodology).
168 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 57.22% were Top 3 and 19.07% were first-place.
myAutoloan leads on recommendation count, but its mentions exceed its recommendations, so presence and endorsement diverge. A mention records appearance in an answer; a recommendation requires affirmative endorsement. The gap between them is the space where a company is discussed without being put forward.
Ranking by recommendation count rewards endorsement volume, not visibility alone. A company with fewer mentions can still carry a larger share of recommendations among those mentions, which is why the mention and recommendation columns deserve separate reading.
Recommendation order and placement
Company | Mentions | Recommendation-to-mention ratio | Top 3 / #1 counts | Positive / neutral / negative mentions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
myAutoloan | 362 | 53.6% | 111 / 37 | 205 / 157 / 0 |
Caribou | 358 | 50.0% | 88 / 37 | 191 / 167 / 0 |
Gravity Lending | 257 | 61.1% | 83 / 40 | 163 / 94 / 0 |
LightStream | 319 | 46.4% | 73 / 37 | 161 / 157 / 1 |
RefiJet | 198 | 47.5% | 48 / 17 | 100 / 98 / 0 |
RateGenius | 148 | 48.6% | 29 / 7 | 73 / 75 / 0 |
Auto Approve | 154 | 44.8% | 36 / 13 | 73 / 81 / 0 |
OpenRoad Lending | 82 | 54.9% | 12 / 2 | 47 / 35 / 0 |
Capital One | 96 | 40.6% | 22 / 14 | 43 / 53 / 0 |
LendingClub | 37 | 18.9% | 4 / 2 | 8 / 29 / 0 |
Placement describes where an endorsed company sits in an answer's ordering. Shortlist placements and first-place placements are subsets of recommendations, not additional wins, and they share the same answer denominator. A first-place result is therefore also a shortlist result and a recommendation.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio compares endorsements with appearances in the recorded answers. It is a wording measure, not customer conversion or sales. Companies with similar recommendation counts can differ in how often those recommendations land near the top of an answer.
Classified framing in context
Company | Positive | Neutral | Negative |
|---|---|---|---|
myAutoloan | 205 | 157 | 0 |
Caribou | 191 | 167 | 0 |
Gravity Lending | 163 | 94 | 0 |
LightStream | 161 | 157 | 1 |
RefiJet | 100 | 98 | 0 |
RateGenius | 73 | 75 | 0 |
Auto Approve | 73 | 81 | 0 |
OpenRoad Lending | 47 | 35 | 0 |
Capital One | 43 | 53 | 0 |
LendingClub | 8 | 29 | 0 |
Framing classifies the wording used about a company in the selected answers. Positive and neutral labels describe how the company was discussed, not customer sentiment, reputation or company quality. A neutral mention can still accompany a recommendation, and positive wording does not establish why an endorsement occurred.
Negative wording is rare in this sample, so net framing scores sit close together. Small differences in wording should not be read as meaningful gaps in standing, and framing alone cannot explain recommendation differences between companies.

myAutoloan holds the top recommendation count, supported by the widest mention base in the tracked set. Its wording is entirely positive or neutral, with no negative mentions recorded. Roughly half of its mentions also carried a recommendation, so a substantial share of appearances were discussion without endorsement.
Its placements are concentrated within its recommendations rather than spread across all mentions. The month-to-month comparison shows mentions rising while recommendations fell, a divergence worth noting without attributing a cause.
Caribou
Questions This Section Answers
- What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Caribou mentions, recommendations and placement?
Caribou ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 358 (59.57%); recommendations: 179 (29.78%). Top 3 placements: 88 (14.64%); first-place placements: 37 (6.16%).

Its wording is positive or neutral throughout, with no negative mentions. Placements sit within its recommendations, and first-place results form a modest subset of those.
The prior-month comparison shows mentions rising while recommendations declined slightly, leaving the recommendation rate nearly level. That pattern separates reach from endorsement volume.
Gravity Lending
Questions This Section Answers

Gravity Lending records fewer mentions than the two companies above it, yet a larger share of its mentions also carry a recommendation than those higher-volume profiles show. Its wording is positive or neutral with no negatives, and first-place placements are comparatively frequent within its recommendations.
Mentions rose month over month while recommendations fell, so the recorded rate eased. The comparison describes the change without explaining it.
LightStream
Questions This Section Answers
- What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about LightStream mentions, recommendations and placement?
LightStream ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 319 (53.08%); recommendations: 148 (24.63%). Top 3 placements: 73 (12.15%); first-place placements: 37 (6.16%).

LightStream carries a large mention base but a lower recommendation-to-mention ratio than several peers, meaning many appearances were discussion without endorsement. Its wording is almost entirely positive or neutral, with a single negative mention recorded. Placements fall within its recommendations, and first-place results are a meaningful subset.
Both mentions and recommendations fell from the prior month, and the recommendation rate declined alongside them. The separate samples do not establish why.

Its wording is evenly split between positive and neutral, with no negative mentions. About half of its mentions carried a recommendation, and first-place placements are a smaller subset of its endorsements.

RateGenius records a moderate mention base and a recommendation count roughly half of it. Its wording is balanced between positive and neutral, with no negative mentions. First-place placements are rare relative to its recommendations, so most of its endorsements sit lower in answer orderings.
Both mentions and recommendations fell from the prior month, and the recommendation rate declined with them. The change is recorded, not explained.

Auto Approve shows a mention base slightly larger than its recommendation count would suggest, with fewer than half of its appearances carrying an endorsement. Its wording leans neutral more than positive, and no negative mentions are recorded. Placements sit within its recommendations, with first-place results a modest subset.
Mentions rose month over month while recommendations fell, lowering the recorded rate. The separate samples do not establish a reason for the shift.

OpenRoad Lending has a smaller mention base than most peers, yet a comparatively high share of its mentions also carry a recommendation. Its wording is mostly positive or neutral, with no negatives. First-place placements are rare, so its endorsements tend to appear without top positioning.
Mentions rose month over month while recommendations dipped slightly, leaving the recommendation rate a little higher. With a smaller base, that rate deserves cautious reading.

Its wording is predominantly neutral, with few positive mentions and no negatives. Its handful of recommendations includes a few first-place placements, but the small base makes any ratio fragile.
Both mentions and recommendations fell from the prior month. With so few recorded endorsements, month-to-month movement should be read cautiously.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.
The prior-month table shows separate answer samples, not a continuous panel. Counts, rates and ranks are reported for each month independently, and the answer totals differ between them. A changed rank or rate does not demonstrate improvement, loss of standing or the effect of any intervention.
Where a company's mentions rose while recommendations fell, the two movements are recorded side by side without a shared explanation. Smaller answer totals in one month do not by themselves account for changes in a company's counts or rates.

What the November Rankings Show
The November results answer several distinct questions. Reach asks how often a company appeared; recommendation asks how often it was affirmatively endorsed; placement asks where endorsements sat in answer orderings; framing asks how the company was worded. A company can be visible without being endorsed, or endorsed without appearing near the top.
Because placements nest inside recommendations and answers can name several companies, the columns should not be summed into a single score. Framing describes wording, not customer sentiment or company quality. The month-to-month comparison shows recorded change across separate samples and does not establish why any count or rate moved.
Methodology
Questions This Section Answers
- How were the November 2026 Auto Refinance Loans AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?
This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.
The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.
Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.
Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.
Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):
Screening measure | Count |
|---|---|
Answers included in the benchmark | 601 |
Answers marked relevant during screening | 660 |
Answers marked reserved (screening label) | 59 |
Answers marked irrelevant during screening | 138 |
Captured answer observations | 800 |
Distinct questions | 532 |
Answer observations marked as mentioning a brand | 800 |
The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.
One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.
Monthly sample coverage:
Reporting month | Answers included | AI services covered | Services |
|---|---|---|---|
Oct 2026 | 691 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Nov 2026 | 601 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
July 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. August 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. September 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison.
The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.
These findings cover the available answer set, not the whole refinance market. The reporting month labels the period, but exact collection dates were not verified, and the monthly samples differ. Each company is counted at most once per answer, and placements are included within recommendations rather than added to them.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customer conversion, satisfaction or company quality. One answer can mention several companies, so company totals overlap. The source does not define the screening label “reserved,” which is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion.
