Answer capsule

The November 2026 Auto Insurance Comparison and Digital Brokerage benchmark compares 10 companies across 670 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Insurify leads with 453 recommendations (67.61% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 473 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by recommendation count, meaning the number of reviewed AI answers that affirmatively endorsed each company. This is a different question from how often a company appeared at all, so a high mention rate does not guarantee a high recommendation count. Ties reflect equal recommendation counts, not shared wording or placement.

Placements sit inside recommendations rather than beside them: a first-place result is a subset of shortlist placements, which are themselves a subset of recommendations. Reading the columns separately keeps reach, endorsement and ordering distinct.

473 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 1324, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Coverage here is answer-level and overlapping. Most reviewed answers named at least one tracked company, and a majority recommended at least one, but many answers recommended several companies at once. That overlap means company totals cannot be summed into a market share.

A meaningful share of answers recommended no tracked company, and those answers may still have endorsed companies outside this comparison. Coverage therefore describes the reviewed answer set, not the whole insurance market.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Insurify ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 638 (95.22%); recommendations: 453 (67.61%). Top 3 placements: 375 (55.97%); first-place placements: 196 (29.25%).

Wording about the company: 477 positive, 161 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 71.0%. The net framing score was 0.75 (defined in Methodology).

185 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 82.78% were Top 3 and 43.27% were first-place.

Reach is appearance; recommendation is affirmative endorsement. Insurify and The Zebra were mentioned in nearly every reviewed answer, yet their recommendation counts are lower than their mention counts, so presence and endorsement diverge.

A tie in recommendation count is a tie, not a unique winner. The gap between mentions and recommendations shows that being named in an answer and being positively endorsed within it are recorded as separate outcomes.

Placement describes where a recommended company appeared in an answer's ordering. Shortlist and first-place counts are nested within recommendations, so they should not be added to recommendation totals or read as extra wins.

Companies with strong recommendation counts also tend to carry more placements, but the proportions differ: some recommendations cluster near the top of an answer, others spread across the shortlist. Placement is about position in the answer, not consumer choice or conversion.

Framing describes the wording used around a company in the reviewed answers. Positive, neutral and negative labels classify that wording; they are not customer sentiment, reputation or a judgment of company quality.

Most companies drew largely positive or neutral wording, with negative wording concentrated in a few profiles. Neutral wording does not establish why a recommendation was or was not recorded, and framing alone cannot explain recommendation differences.

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Insurify mentions, recommendations and placement?

Insurify ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 638 (95.22%); recommendations: 453 (67.61%). Top 3 placements: 375 (55.97%); first-place placements: 196 (29.25%).

Wording about the company: 477 positive, 161 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 71.0%. The net framing score was 0.75 (defined in Methodology).

185 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 82.78% were Top 3 and 43.27% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Insurify's mention count rose from 577 to 638, while its recommendation count fell from 530 to 453. The recommendation rate was 88.48% and 67.61% respectively.

Insurify leads the recommendation count and appears in nearly every reviewed answer, with most of its mentions also carrying an endorsement. Its placements lean toward the top of answers, and its wording was positive or neutral throughout.

Between the two monthly samples, mentions rose while recommendations fell, so the recommendation rate declined. The samples differ, and the recorded change does not establish why it occurred.

The Zebra

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about The Zebra mentions, recommendations and placement?

The Zebra ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 643 (95.97%); recommendations: 414 (61.79%). Top 3 placements: 332 (49.55%); first-place placements: 141 (21.04%).

Wording about the company: 444 positive, 199 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 64.4%. The net framing score was 0.69 (defined in Methodology).

229 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 80.19% were Top 3 and 34.06% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, The Zebra's mention count rose from 582 to 643, while its recommendation count fell from 500 to 414. The recommendation rate was 83.47% and 61.79% respectively.

The Zebra appears in nearly every reviewed answer and holds the second-highest recommendation count, though a substantial share of its mentions carried no endorsement. Its placements are frequently near the top of answers, and its wording was positive or neutral.

Across the two monthly samples, mentions rose while recommendations fell, lowering the recommendation rate. That comparison is descriptive only and does not identify a cause.

Policygenius

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Policygenius mentions, recommendations and placement?

Policygenius ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 377 (56.27%); recommendations: 259 (38.66%). Top 3 placements: 137 (20.45%); first-place placements: 17 (2.54%).

Wording about the company: 276 positive, 101 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 68.7%. The net framing score was 0.73 (defined in Methodology).

118 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 52.90% were Top 3 and 6.56% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Policygenius' mention count fell from 387 to 377, while its recommendation count fell from 309 to 259. The recommendation rate was 51.59% and 38.66% respectively.

Policygenius sits third by recommendation count, with a moderate mention rate and a recommendation-to-mention ratio close to the leaders. Its first-place placements are comparatively rare, so most of its endorsements land lower in the answer ordering.

Both mentions and recommendations fell between the two monthly samples, and the recommendation rate declined alongside them. The samples are separate, so the change is recorded rather than explained.

Jerry

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Jerry mentions, recommendations and placement?

Jerry ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 261 (38.96%); recommendations: 164 (24.48%). Top 3 placements: 87 (12.99%); first-place placements: 29 (4.33%).

Wording about the company: 171 positive, 90 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 62.8%. The net framing score was 0.66 (defined in Methodology).

From October 2026 to November 2026, Jerry's mention count rose from 243 to 261, while its recommendation count fell from 181 to 164. The recommendation rate was 30.22% and 24.48% respectively.

Jerry ranks fourth by recommendation count. It appears in a substantial share of the recorded answers, and a majority of those mentions also carried an affirmative endorsement. First-place placements form a smaller subset of its shortlist placements, and its wording was positive or neutral, with no negative mentions recorded.

Across the two monthly samples, mentions rose while recommendations fell, and the recommendation rate declined accordingly. The comparison does not establish why, and the smaller answer totals in one sample do not explain the change. Framing describes wording, not customer sentiment or company quality.

Experian Insurance

Questions This Section Answers

Experian Insurance ranks 5 by recommendation count. Mentions: 118 (17.61%); recommendations: 21 (3.13%). Top 3 placements: 9 (1.34%); first-place placements: 1 (0.15%).

Wording about the company: 23 positive, 94 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 17.8%. The net framing score was 0.19 (defined in Methodology).

From October 2026 to November 2026, Experian Insurance's mention count fell from 126 to 118, while its recommendation count fell from 55 to 21. The recommendation rate was 9.18% and 3.13% respectively.

Experian Insurance appears in a modest share of reviewed answers, and only a small fraction of those mentions carried an endorsement. Its wording was mostly neutral, with a single negative mention, and its placements were few.

Both mentions and recommendations fell between the two monthly samples, and the recommendation rate declined. With such a small recommendation base, the placement proportions should be read cautiously.

EverQuote

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about EverQuote mentions, recommendations and placement?

EverQuote ranks 6 by recommendation count. Mentions: 58 (8.66%); recommendations: 5 (0.75%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 5 positive, 31 neutral, 22 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 8.6%. The net framing score was -0.29 (defined in Methodology).

53 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 0.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, EverQuote's mention count fell from 70 to 58, while its recommendation count fell from 11 to 5. The recommendation rate was 1.84% and 0.75% respectively.

EverQuote appears in a small share of reviewed answers and drew very few endorsements, with no shortlist or first-place placements recorded. Its wording was notably mixed, including a substantial number of negative mentions.

Both mentions and recommendations fell across the two monthly samples. The negative framing and the sparse recommendation base are recorded observations; neither establishes why endorsements were limited.

AutoInsurance.com

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about AutoInsurance.com mentions, recommendations and placement?

AutoInsurance.com ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 298 (44.48%); recommendations: 3 (0.45%). Top 3 placements: 2 (0.30%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 4 positive, 294 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 1.0%. The net framing score was 0.01 (defined in Methodology).

295 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 66.67% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, AutoInsurance.com's mention count rose from 229 to 298, while its recommendation count fell from 6 to 3. The recommendation rate was 1.00% and 0.45% respectively.

AutoInsurance.com is mentioned in a large share of reviewed answers but almost never endorsed, giving it one of the widest gaps between reach and recommendation. Its wording was overwhelmingly neutral, and its placements were minimal.

Mentions rose across the two monthly samples while recommendations fell. The near-absence of endorsement is a measured result, not evidence about the company's products or service.

Trusted Choice

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Trusted Choice mentions, recommendations and placement?

Trusted Choice ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 3 (0.45%); recommendations: 3 (0.45%). Top 3 placements: 2 (0.30%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 3 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 100.0%. The net framing score was 1.00 (defined in Methodology).

0 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 66.67% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Trusted Choice's mention count stayed at 3, while its recommendation count rose from 2 to 3. The recommendation rate was 0.33% and 0.45% respectively.

Trusted Choice appears in only a handful of reviewed answers, but every one of those mentions carried an endorsement, and its wording was uniformly positive. Its placements were few, with no first-place results.

Because the base is so small, the strong recommendation-to-mention ratio should be read with caution. Mentions held steady across the two monthly samples while recommendations edged up slightly.

Insurance.com

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Insurance.com mentions, recommendations and placement?

Insurance.com ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 37 (5.52%); recommendations: 2 (0.30%). Top 3 placements: 1 (0.15%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Insurance.com appears in a small share of reviewed answers and drew very few endorsements, with wording that was mostly neutral and included some negative mentions. Its placements were minimal.

Mentions rose across the two monthly samples while recommendations fell, lowering the recommendation rate. With such a small recommendation base, the placement proportions are fragile and should not be over-read.

VIU by HUB

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about VIU by HUB mentions, recommendations and placement?

VIU by HUB ranks 10 by recommendation count. Mentions: 0 (0.00%); recommendations: 0 (0.00%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 0 positive, 0 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was Unavailable. The net framing score was Unavailable (defined in Methodology).

0 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, Unavailable were Top 3 and Unavailable were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, VIU by HUB's mention count stayed at 0, while its recommendation count stayed at 0. The recommendation rate was 0.00% and 0.00% respectively.

VIU by HUB recorded no mentions and no recommendations in the reviewed answers, so its placement counts are also zero and its framing score is undefined. These are measured zeros, not missing observations.

The result held across both monthly samples. A zero count describes this answer set only and does not establish anything about the company's visibility or standing more broadly.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

The two monthly snapshots come from separate answer samples with different totals, so counts and rates are not directly interchangeable across months. Several companies show mentions and recommendations moving in different directions, and ranks shifted for a few.

These comparisons describe how the recorded results changed between samples. They do not establish rank stability, equivalent sampling or the reasons behind any movement.

What the November Rankings Show

The November results answer several distinct questions. Reach asks how often a company appeared; recommendation asks whether an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where within an endorsement it sat; framing asks how the wording read. A company can be widely mentioned yet rarely endorsed, or rarely mentioned yet consistently endorsed.

Because placements nest inside recommendations and answers can name several companies, the columns cannot be combined into a single score. Framing is wording, not sentiment or quality, and the monthly comparisons are separate samples. The rankings describe the reviewed AI answers, not customers, sales or verified company facts.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Auto Insurance Comparison and Digital Brokerage AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some planned question categories contributed usable answers, and the exact collection dates are unverified. Each company is counted at most once per answer, and recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Rates use the full benchmark answer total, with placements nested inside recommendations.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customer conversion, satisfaction or company quality. One answer can name several companies, so totals overlap. Monthly samples differ, and comparisons show recorded change without establishing its cause.
