Answer capsule

The November 2026 AI Work Collaboration Platforms benchmark compares 12 companies across 580 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Asana leads with 226 recommendations (38.97% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 259 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers affirmatively recommended them, not by how often they appeared. A company can be mentioned widely yet recommended rarely, so mention counts and recommendation counts answer different questions.

Ties are decided by equal recommendation counts, not by framing or placement. Top-three and first-place placements sit inside the recommendation total rather than beside it, so they refine where a recommendation landed rather than adding separate wins.

259 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 842, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every included answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but fewer than half recommended one. Because a single answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers carrying any recommendation.

Answers without a tracked recommendation are not empty of advice; they may have named companies outside this comparison. Coverage therefore describes the reach of the tracked set within these answers, not overall market dominance.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Asana ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 552 (95.17%); recommendations: 226 (38.97%). Top 3 placements: 129 (22.24%); first-place placements: 49 (8.45%).

Wording about the company: 239 positive, 313 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 40.9%. The net framing score was 0.43 (defined in Methodology).

326 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 57.08% were Top 3 and 21.68% were first-place.

Mention measures appearance: the company was named in the answer. Recommendation requires an affirmative endorsement, so a mention can occur without one, and most of Asana's mentions carried no recorded recommendation.

A high mention rate paired with a lower recommendation rate shows reach exceeding endorsement in these answers. Neither figure describes customers, sales or conversion, and the gap between them is a wording pattern, not a verdict on the company.

Placement describes where a recommended company appeared in the answer's ordering. Top-three and first-place counts are nested within recommendations, so they should be read as refinements of the recommendation total rather than as additional endorsements.

Recommendation-to-mention ratios vary widely across companies, and a strong ratio on a small base is less stable than one on a large base. These ratios describe recorded answer wording, not customer behavior.

Framing classifies the wording surrounding a mention as positive, neutral or negative. Neutral wording dominates for most companies here, and negative mentions are rare or absent, so a positive count does not by itself explain why a recommendation was or was not recorded.

Net framing summarizes tone across mentions on a bounded scale. It is not customer sentiment, product quality or evidence of source influence, and it should not be read as a cause of recommendation differences.

Airtable's mention rate is close to Miro's, but its recommendation count and ratio are somewhat lower, placing it sixth. Placements form a small share of its recommendations.

Framing is mostly neutral with no negatives. Mentions rose between the two months while recommendations fell, so the two measures moved in opposite directions; the samples differ and the reason is not established.

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Discord mentions, recommendations and placement?

Framing is almost entirely neutral with no negatives. Mentions rose slightly while recommendations fell between the two months; that comparison spans separate samples and does not establish why.

Coda

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Coda mentions, recommendations and placement?

Coda ranks 11 by recommendation count. Mentions: 27 (4.66%); recommendations: 2 (0.34%). Top 3 placements: 1 (0.17%); first-place placements: 1 (0.17%).

Wording about the company: 3 positive, 24 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 7.4%. The net framing score was 0.11 (defined in Methodology).

Coda appears in few answers and is recommended in only a handful, placing it eleventh. Its recommendation-to-mention ratio is low, and its placements are a tiny fraction of recommendations.

Framing is mostly neutral with no negatives. Mentions rose slightly while recommendations fell between the two months; the separate samples do not establish a cause, and the small counts limit interpretation.

Cisco Webex App

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Cisco Webex App mentions, recommendations and placement?

Cisco Webex App ranks 12 by recommendation count. Mentions: 12 (2.07%); recommendations: 1 (0.17%). Top 3 placements: 0 (0.00%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 2 positive, 10 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 8.3%. The net framing score was 0.17 (defined in Methodology).

11 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 0.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Cisco Webex App's mention count rose from 7 to 12, while its recommendation count stayed at 1. The recommendation rate was 0.17% and 0.17% respectively.

Cisco Webex App appears in a modest share of recorded answers, and its recommendation count is far smaller than its mention count. Most appearances carried neutral wording, with a few positive and no negative descriptions. Placement counts are observed values: no shortlist or first-place positions were recorded, so those counts are zero rather than unavailable.

Because recommendations are so few, the recommendation-to-mention ratio rests on a sparse base and should be read as a description of these answers, not as a stable measure. Between the two months, mentions increased while recommendations held steady; the samples are separate, so the comparison does not establish why either count moved.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, and the number of included answers differs slightly across months. Counts and rates should be read together, since a rate depends on both the recommendation count and the answer total.

Rank positions across months describe those selected samples only. They do not establish rank stability, equivalent sampling or the reasons behind any movement.

What the November Rankings Show

These measures answer different questions. Reach asks whether a company was named at all; recommendation asks whether the answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where an endorsement landed; framing asks how the wording read. A company can be strong on one and weak on another.

Reading them together shows that broad appearance does not guarantee endorsement, and endorsement does not guarantee a top position. The figures describe recorded AI answers, not customers, sales or product quality, and they do not explain why any pattern occurred.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 AI Work Collaboration Platforms AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 12 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of โ€œreservedโ€; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some question categories contributed usable observations, and findings apply to the available answer set. The reporting month labels the period, but exact collection dates were not verified.

Each company is counted at most once per answer. Recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording, and top-three and first-place results are nested within recommendations. Rates use the full benchmark answer total, and one answer can cover several companies, so company totals should not be summed. Monthly samples differ, and comparisons show recorded change without establishing why it occurred.
