Answer capsule

The November 2026 Stock Tips benchmark compares 10 companies across 497 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Seeking Alpha leads with 47 recommendations (9.46% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 63 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many recorded answers affirmatively recommended them. That count is not the same as reach: a company can appear in many answers without being endorsed, so mention totals and recommendation totals answer different questions. Ties in recommendation count would share a rank; the printed table shows no tie at the top. Placement figures are nested inside recommendations, not separate wins.

63 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 195, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, yet only a minority recommended one. Because a single answer can endorse several companies, company-level recommendation counts sum to more than the number of answers carrying any recommendation. Overlap is therefore expected, and the coverage figures describe the reviewed answers rather than overall market dominance or share of investor attention.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Seeking Alpha ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 163 (32.80%); recommendations: 47 (9.46%). Top 3 placements: 33 (6.64%); first-place placements: 10 (2.01%).

Wording about the company: 53 positive, 110 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 28.8%. The net framing score was 0.33 (defined in Methodology).

116 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 70.21% were Top 3 and 21.28% were first-place.

Seeking Alpha leads on recommendation count, but its mentions far outnumber its endorsements, so reach and recommendation diverge. Wording was mostly neutral, with no negative mentions recorded. The recommendation-to-mention ratio describes how often an appearance also carried an endorsement in these answers; it is not a conversion measure, and the gap between mentions and recommendations should not be read as lost customers.

Top-three and first-place counts are subsets of recommendations, so they cannot be added to recommendation totals or compared as if they shared a separate base. Companies with many mentions but few endorsements show low recommendation-to-mention ratios, and where the recommendation base is small those ratios rest on sparse evidence. Placement describes position within an answer, not consumer preference or sales.

Framing records how the selected answers worded each company, not how customers or the market regard it. Neutral wording dominates nearly every profile, and negative mentions are rare but present for several companies. A positive net framing score does not explain why recommendations occurred or did not occur, and it should not be treated as a measure of company quality or reputation.

Most appearances were neutral, and a minority of mentions also carried an endorsement. Its placements sit within those recommendations rather than beside them. The month-to-month comparison shows mentions rising while recommendations fell; the samples differ, so the change is recorded without an explanation.

Compared with the prior month, mentions rose while recommendations fell across separate samples.

The Motley Fool

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about The Motley Fool mentions, recommendations and placement?

The Motley Fool ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 155 (31.19%); recommendations: 37 (7.44%). Top 3 placements: 21 (4.23%); first-place placements: 15 (3.02%).

Wording about the company: 47 positive, 106 neutral, 2 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 23.9%. The net framing score was 0.29 (defined in Methodology).

118 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 56.76% were Top 3 and 40.54% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, The Motley Fool's mention count rose from 139 to 155, while its recommendation count fell from 42 to 37. The recommendation rate was 9.88% and 7.44% respectively.

The Motley Fool combines a mid-sized mention base with a recommendation count close to Morningstar's, and its first-place share of recommendations is comparatively high. Wording was mostly neutral, with a small number of negative mentions. Its recommendation-to-mention ratio sits near the middle of the field. Mentions rose and recommendations fell between the two monthly samples, a comparison that does not establish cause.

Zacks Investment Research

Questions This Section Answers

Zacks Investment Research ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 169 (34.00%); recommendations: 30 (6.04%). Top 3 placements: 10 (2.01%); first-place placements: 2 (0.40%).

Wording about the company: 43 positive, 125 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 17.8%. The net framing score was 0.25 (defined in Methodology).

139 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 33.33% were Top 3 and 6.67% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Zacks Investment Research's mention count rose from 111 to 169, while its recommendation count fell from 38 to 30. The recommendation rate was 8.94% and 6.04% respectively.

Zacks Investment Research appears often in the recorded answers, but only a modest share of those appearances also carry an affirmative recommendation. First-place placements form a small subset of its recommendations, and shortlist placements are likewise limited. Wording around the company was mostly neutral, with a single negative mention and a mildly positive net framing score.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio describes the recorded answers rather than customers, sales or conversion, and framing is not customer sentiment or company quality. The two months are separate selected samples: mentions rose while recommendations fell, and the differing totals do not establish why either count or rate changed.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, so counts and rates should be read together rather than as a continuous series. Several companies show mentions rising while recommendation counts fell, but differing samples mean the movement cannot be attributed to a cause. Rank positions are shown only for months with verified results and do not imply stable standing.

What the November Rankings Show

These rankings answer several distinct questions. Reach asks how often a company appeared; recommendation asks whether an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where an endorsement sat within an answer; framing asks how the wording was classified. A company can be highly visible yet rarely endorsed, or endorsed often on a smaller base. None of these measures describes customers, sales or company quality, and the monthly comparisons record change without explaining it.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Stock Tips AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

July 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. August 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

The benchmark covers a partial set of question categories and the reviewed AI answers, not verified facts about the companies. Each company counts at most once per qualifying answer, and recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Top-three and first-place results are contained within recommendations. Rates use the full included-answer total, while the recommendation-to-mention ratio describes answer wording rather than conversion. Monthly samples differ, so comparisons show recorded change without establishing why it occurred.
