Answer capsule
The November 2026 Kitchen & Bathroom Fixtures benchmark compares 9 companies across 544 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Kohler leads with 459 recommendations (84.38% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 472 answers; some answers recommended several companies.
The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

9 | ANZZI | 13 | 2.39% | 4.04% | 0.92% | 0.18% | 0.59 |
The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers recorded an affirmative recommendation, so it measures endorsement volume rather than mere appearance. A company can be mentioned often yet recommended less often, and those two readings answer different questions.
Ties require equal recommendation counts; near-equal counts are not ties. Placement figures are nested inside recommendations, so first-place and shortlist results should be read as subsets rather than additional wins.

Tracked-company answer coverage
Questions This Section Answers
- How often did the November 2026 Kitchen & Bathroom Fixtures answer sample recommend any tracked company?
Answer-level result | Qualified answers | Share of qualified answers |
|---|---|---|
At least one tracked company mentioned | 544 | 100.00% |
At least one tracked company recommended | 472 | 86.76% |
No tracked company recommended | 72 | 13.24% |
Multiple tracked companies recommended | 470 | 86.40% |
472 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 1852, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.
Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, and most recommended at least one. Because a single answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers, so they should not be summed as if each answer counted once.
Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison. Coverage therefore describes the tracked set, not the whole market.
Reach and affirmative recommendation
Kohler ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 530 (97.43%); recommendations: 459 (84.38%). Top 3 placements: 412 (75.74%); first-place placements: 107 (19.67%).
Wording about the company: 461 positive, 69 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 86.6%. The net framing score was 0.87 (defined in Methodology).
71 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 89.76% were Top 3 and 23.31% were first-place.
Mention records that a company appeared in an answer; recommendation records an affirmative endorsement. Kohler appeared in nearly every qualified answer and was recommended in most of them, but the gap between the two shows that presence alone is not endorsement.
A recommendation-to-mention ratio summarizes how often appearances carried endorsement in the recorded answers. It is not a customer conversion measure, and it does not explain why endorsement occurred.
Recommendation order and placement
Company | Mentions | Recommendation-to-mention ratio | Top 3 / #1 counts | Positive / neutral / negative mentions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Kohler | 530 | 86.6% | 412 / 107 | 461 / 69 / 0 |
Moen | 460 | 87.2% | 352 / 148 | 403 / 57 / 0 |
Delta Faucet | 456 | 87.1% | 355 / 166 | 399 / 57 / 0 |
American Standard | 296 | 87.2% | 51 / 5 | 259 / 36 / 1 |
Kraus | 242 | 81.8% | 60 / 15 | 199 / 43 / 0 |
VIGO | 112 | 67.9% | 23 / 5 | 76 / 36 / 0 |
DreamLine | 44 | 75.0% | 32 / 17 | 33 / 11 / 0 |
Kingston Brass | 31 | 54.8% | 8 / 1 | 17 / 14 / 0 |
ANZZI | 22 | 59.1% | 5 / 1 | 13 / 9 / 0 |
Placement describes where a recommended company sat in the answer's ordering. Shortlist placements are a subset of recommendations, and first-place placements are a subset of shortlist placements, so these counts should not be added together.
Companies differ in how concentrated their recommendations are near the top. A high first-place share on a small recommendation base is a strong ratio but rests on limited evidence, so it warrants cautious reading.
Classified framing in context
Company | Positive | Neutral | Negative |
|---|---|---|---|
Kohler | 461 | 69 | 0 |
Moen | 403 | 57 | 0 |
Delta Faucet | 399 | 57 | 0 |
American Standard | 259 | 36 | 1 |
Kraus | 199 | 43 | 0 |
VIGO | 76 | 36 | 0 |
DreamLine | 33 | 11 | 0 |
Kingston Brass | 17 | 14 | 0 |
ANZZI | 13 | 9 | 0 |
Framing classifies the wording used about a company in the selected answers as positive, neutral or negative. It is not customer sentiment, product quality or reputation, and neutral wording does not indicate a weak recommendation.
Most recorded mentions carried positive wording, with neutral wording common and negative wording rare. These classifications describe how the answers phrased things, not why a company was or was not recommended.

Framing is almost entirely positive. The prior-month comparison shows mentions and recommendations both lower, while the recommendation rate was higher; the samples differ, so no cause is inferred.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.
Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, and the number of included answers differs across months. Counts and rates should be read together, since a lower count can coexist with a higher rate when the answer base changes.
Rank positions are shown only for months with verified results. The comparisons describe recorded changes between samples; they do not establish why counts, rates or ranks moved.

What the November Rankings Show
The November results answer several distinct questions. Reach shows how often a company appeared at all; recommendation shows how often an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement shows where endorsements sat in the ordering; and framing describes the wording used. These measures can diverge, so a company strong on one need not be strong on another.
Because recommendations nest placements and answers can name several companies, totals overlap and should not be combined into a single score. The monthly comparisons are separate samples, so shifts in counts or rates are recorded observations rather than evidence of improvement, decline or cause.
Methodology
Questions This Section Answers
- How were the November 2026 Kitchen & Bathroom Fixtures AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?
This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.
The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.
Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.
Market: US; 9 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.
Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):
Screening measure | Count |
|---|---|
Answers included in the benchmark | 544 |
Answers marked relevant during screening | 792 |
Answers marked reserved (screening label) | 248 |
Answers marked irrelevant during screening | 8 |
Captured answer observations | 800 |
Distinct questions | 560 |
Answer observations marked as mentioning a brand | 800 |
The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.
One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.
Monthly sample coverage:
Reporting month | Answers included | AI services covered | Services |
|---|---|---|---|
Sep 2026 | 638 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Oct 2026 | 628 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Nov 2026 | 544 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.
Coverage is partial: some planned question categories contributed usable observations and others did not, which describes category coverage rather than platform outages. The reporting month labels the period, but exact collection dates were not verified.
Each company counts at most once per answer, and recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Rates use the full benchmark answer total, and placements are included within recommendations. Net framing is a wording measure, not customer satisfaction or company quality. Monthly samples differ, so comparisons show recorded change without establishing cause.
