Answer capsule

The November 2026 Commercial Cleaning Services benchmark compares 6 companies across 183 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting leads with 58 recommendations (31.69% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 65 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers affirmatively recommended them, so it measures recorded endorsement rather than overall visibility. A company can appear often yet be recommended rarely, and the two columns should be read side by side.

Ties in recommendation counts would share a rank; none are reported here. Placement figures are subsets of recommendations, not separate wins, so they refine the ranking rather than extend it.

65 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 151, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but only about a third recommended one. That gap separates appearance from endorsement: being named in an answer is not the same as being put forward as a choice.

Multiple tracked companies appeared together in many answers, so company totals overlap and cannot be summed into a market share. Answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 113 (61.75%); recommendations: 58 (31.69%). Top 3 placements: 50 (27.32%); first-place placements: 33 (18.03%).

Wording about the company: 63 positive, 50 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 51.3%. The net framing score was 0.56 (defined in Methodology).

55 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 86.21% were Top 3 and 56.90% were first-place.

JAN-PRO Cleaning & Disinfecting leads on recommendation count, but its mentions far outnumber its recommendations. Roughly half of the answers naming it also endorsed it, which places it between companies that convert mentions more often and those that convert them less.

Mention presence and affirmative recommendation answer different questions. A high mention count shows visibility in the reviewed answers; it does not by itself establish preference.

Top-three and first-place results are nested inside recommendations, so they describe where an endorsed company sat in an answer's ordering, not additional endorsements. A company can be recommended often while rarely appearing first.

Placement reflects position and framing within the recorded answers. It is not a measure of customer choice, sales, or conversion, and the ordering should not be read as a purchase ranking.

Framing classifies the wording used about each company in the selected answers. Positive wording outweighs neutral for most tracked companies, and no negative mentions were recorded, but neutral wording is common and should not be read as disapproval.

Framing is not customer sentiment or an assessment of company quality. It also does not explain why a company was or was not recommended; the wording and the endorsement are recorded separately.

Its framing is predominantly positive with no negative mentions. The month-to-month comparison shows mentions rising while recommendations fell; the samples differ, so the change is reported without an explanation.

Stratus Clean

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Stratus Clean mentions, recommendations and placement?

Stratus Clean ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 58 (31.69%); recommendations: 35 (19.13%). Top 3 placements: 28 (15.30%); first-place placements: 7 (3.83%).

Wording about the company: 41 positive, 17 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 60.3%. The net framing score was 0.71 (defined in Methodology).

Stratus Clean ranks second by recommendation count, with mentions appearing in a substantial share of recorded answers. Recommendations are affirmative endorsements within those answers, and most of its recorded recommendations also placed the company in the top three, with first-place placements forming a smaller subset.

Wording around the company was mostly positive, with the remainder neutral and none negative. Mentions and recommendations both rose from the earlier snapshot, but the monthly samples differ, so the comparison does not establish a trend or its cause.

Coverall

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Coverall mentions, recommendations and placement?

Coverall ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 76 (41.53%); recommendations: 29 (15.85%). Top 3 placements: 21 (11.48%); first-place placements: 1 (0.55%).

Coverall ranks third on recommendation count and appears in a sizable share of answers, yet fewer than half of those mentions include an endorsement. Its recommendations are mostly top-three placements, with first-place appearances rare.

Framing is mixed between positive and neutral, with no negative mentions. Mentions rose while recommendations edged down across the two snapshots; because the samples differ, that comparison is descriptive only.

City Wide Facility Solutions

Questions This Section Answers

City Wide Facility Solutions ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 92 (50.27%); recommendations: 27 (14.75%). Top 3 placements: 20 (10.93%); first-place placements: 10 (5.46%).

City Wide Facility Solutions appears in about half of the reviewed answers but is endorsed in a smaller fraction of them, giving it a comparatively low recommendation-to-mention ratio. Its recommendations are mostly top-three, with a meaningful first-place subset.

Neutral framing outnumbers positive, and no negative mentions were recorded. Mentions rose while recommendations fell between snapshots; the differing samples mean the shift is reported, not explained.

OpenWorks

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about OpenWorks mentions, recommendations and placement?

OpenWorks ranks 5 by recommendation count. Mentions: 4 (2.19%); recommendations: 2 (1.09%). Top 3 placements: 1 (0.55%); first-place placements: 0 (0.00%).

Wording about the company: 2 positive, 2 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 50.0%. The net framing score was 0.50 (defined in Methodology).

2 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 50.00% were Top 3 and 0.00% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, OpenWorks' mention count fell from 5 to 4, while its recommendation count stayed at 2. The recommendation rate was 1.83% and 1.09% respectively. The count was unchanged: the rate difference comes from dividing it by 109 answers in October 2026 and 183 in November.

OpenWorks has a small recorded footprint: a handful of mentions and few recommendations, so its ratios rest on a sparse base and should be read with caution. Its single top-three placement is a subset of those recommendations, and no first-place appearances were recorded.

Framing is split evenly between positive and neutral. Mentions slipped slightly while the recommendation count held steady; the rate difference follows from the larger answer total, not a change in the count.

With no mentions, framing is unavailable. The zero counts held steady across both snapshots, though the monthly samples differ in size.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

The earlier snapshot is a separate sample of AI answers, not a like-for-like panel. Counts, rates and coverage should be read together, since a rate depends on both the recommendation count and the total answers in that month's sample.

Rank changes between months describe the recorded ordering only. They do not establish rank stability, improvement or loss of standing, and the differing samples limit direct comparison.

What the November Rankings Show

The November results answer several distinct questions. Reach shows how often a company appeared in the reviewed answers; recommendation shows how often it was affirmatively endorsed; placement shows where endorsements sat within an answer's ordering; framing describes the wording used. Each is measured separately, and none substitutes for another.

A company can be visible without being recommended, recommended without appearing first, or framed positively without being endorsed. Because answers can name several companies, totals overlap and should not be summed. The figures describe the selected AI answers, not customers, sales, or verified company facts.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Commercial Cleaning Services AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 6 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some planned question categories contributed usable answers, and findings apply to that available set. The reporting month labels the period, but exact collection dates were not verified, and the monthly samples differ in size.

Each company is counted at most once per answer. Recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording, and top-three and first-place results are nested within recommendations. Rates use the full benchmark answer total, and ratios describe answer wording, not customer conversion or company quality.
