Answer capsule

The November 2026 Online Betting Sites benchmark compares 9 companies across 274 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. DraftKings, FanDuel share the lead with 144 recommendations each (52.55% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 146 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers affirmatively recommended them, so it measures recorded endorsement rather than visibility. A company can appear often yet be recommended rarely, which is why mention counts and recommendation counts answer different questions. DraftKings and FanDuel share the top recommendation count, and a tie is a tie rather than a unique winner. Placement figures are nested within recommendations, not separate wins.

146 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 738, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Every included answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but only about half recommended one. Because a single answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation totals exceed the number of answers carrying any recommendation. This overlap means coverage describes how often tracked names appear across answers, not that one company dominates the market. Answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

DraftKings ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 271 (98.91%); recommendations: 144 (52.55%). Top 3 placements: 130 (47.45%); first-place placements: 55 (20.07%).

Wording about the company: 146 positive, 125 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 53.1%. The net framing score was 0.54 (defined in Methodology).

127 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 90.28% were Top 3 and 38.19% were first-place.

FanDuel ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 272 (99.27%); recommendations: 144 (52.55%). Top 3 placements: 128 (46.72%); first-place placements: 67 (24.45%).

Wording about the company: 146 positive, 126 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 52.9%. The net framing score was 0.54 (defined in Methodology).

128 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 88.89% were Top 3 and 46.53% were first-place.

Reach asks whether a company appears; recommendation asks whether the answer affirmatively endorsed it. DraftKings and FanDuel each appear in nearly every answer, yet roughly half of those mentions carry no recorded recommendation. That gap is the central distinction: presence in an answer is not endorsement. The shared top rank reflects equal recommendation counts, not a decisive lead for either company.

Placement describes where a recommended company sits in an answer's ordering. Top-three and first-place results are subsets of recommendations, so they should not be added to recommendation counts or read as extra wins. A company recommended often but rarely placed first differs from one recommended less often but placed first more consistently. These are answer positions, not customer choices or conversions.

Framing records whether the wording around a company was positive, neutral or negative. Most mentions across companies are neutral or positive, and negative wording is rare. Neutral wording is not a negative signal, and positive wording does not establish why a recommendation occurred. Framing describes the language of these answers, not customer sentiment or company quality.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, so counts and rates should be read together rather than as a continuous trend line. Rank positions can hold while underlying counts and rates move, and a changed rate does not demonstrate improvement, lost standing or the effect of any intervention. The differing monthly samples do not establish why results changed.

What the November Rankings Show

These sections answer different questions. Reach shows whether a company appears; recommendation shows whether an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement shows where a recommendation sat; framing shows the wording around it. A company can be visible yet seldom recommended, or recommended often yet rarely placed first. Reading the measures together avoids treating presence as endorsement or position as customer preference.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Online Betting Sites AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 9 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

Coverage is partial: only some planned question categories contributed usable answers, so findings apply to the available set. Each company is counted at most once per answer, and placement results sit inside recommendations rather than alongside them. Recommendation-to-mention ratios describe answer wording, not conversion, and framing is not customer sentiment. Monthly samples differ, and the exact collection dates are unverified.
