Answer capsule

The November 2026 Job Posting Sites benchmark compares 10 companies across 566 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Indeed leads with 544 recommendations (96.11% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 546 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers recorded an affirmative recommendation. That count is not the same as appearing in an answer, and it is not the same as being placed near the top of a list. A company can be mentioned often yet recommended less often, so the columns answer different questions.

Ties matter here. Equal recommendation counts share a rank, and a narrow gap between adjacent companies does not establish a durable ordering. Placement figures are subsets of recommendations rather than separate wins, so they should be read inside the recommendation total, not added to it.

546 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 3169, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Coverage describes how often the tracked companies appear across the reviewed answers. Nearly every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, and nearly all of those also carried an affirmative recommendation for one. A small remainder recommended none of the tracked set.

Because one answer can recommend several companies, company-level totals exceed the number of answers. That overlap is expected and does not indicate market dominance. Answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison, so coverage is bounded by the tracked list.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

Indeed ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 566 (100.00%); recommendations: 544 (96.11%). Top 3 placements: 487 (86.04%); first-place placements: 300 (53.00%).

Wording about the company: 547 positive, 18 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 96.1%. The net framing score was 0.96 (defined in Methodology).

22 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 89.52% were Top 3 and 55.15% were first-place.

Reach asks whether a company appeared at all; recommendation asks whether the answer affirmatively endorsed it. Indeed appeared in every qualified answer and was recommended in almost all of them, leaving a small set of mentions without a recorded recommendation. That gap is the clearest distinction between presence and endorsement.

A tie in recommendation count is a tie, not a unique win. Where two companies record the same count, the ordering should not be read as one clearly leading the other.

Placement describes where a recommended company sat within an answer's ordering. Top-three placements are a subset of recommendations, and first-place placements are a subset of top-three placements, so these are nested readings rather than additional endorsements.

A high recommendation-to-mention ratio means most appearances also carried an endorsement; it does not describe customers, sales or conversion. Companies with many recommendations but few first-place placements were endorsed without being placed first, which is a distinct pattern from being recommended less often overall.

Framing records the wording around a company in the selected answers: positive, neutral or negative. It is not customer sentiment, reputation or a judgment of company quality, and neutral wording does not explain why a recommendation was or was not recorded.

Most mentions across the tracked set carried positive wording, with neutral wording forming the larger share of the remainder and negative wording rare. Differences in framing between companies describe the recorded answers only and should not be read as evidence about the companies themselves.

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Indeed mentions, recommendations and placement?

Indeed ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 566 (100.00%); recommendations: 544 (96.11%). Top 3 placements: 487 (86.04%); first-place placements: 300 (53.00%).

Wording about the company: 547 positive, 18 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 96.1%. The net framing score was 0.96 (defined in Methodology).

22 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 89.52% were Top 3 and 55.15% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Indeed's mention count rose from 526 to 566, while its recommendation count rose from 493 to 544. The recommendation rate was 93.55% and 96.11% respectively.

Indeed leads the November recommendation count and appeared in every qualified answer, with only a small number of mentions lacking a recorded recommendation. Its placements skew strongly toward the top of answer orderings, giving it the largest first-place presence in the set.

Wording around Indeed was overwhelmingly positive with few neutral mentions. The October-to-November comparison shows both mentions and recommendations higher, though the separate monthly samples do not establish why.

LinkedIn

Questions This Section Answers

LinkedIn ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 566 (100.00%); recommendations: 543 (95.94%). Top 3 placements: 470 (83.04%); first-place placements: 181 (31.98%).

Wording about the company: 545 positive, 20 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 95.9%. The net framing score was 0.96 (defined in Methodology).

23 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 86.56% were Top 3 and 33.33% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, LinkedIn's mention count rose from 527 to 566, while its recommendation count rose from 497 to 543. The recommendation rate was 94.31% and 95.94% respectively.

LinkedIn sits just behind the leader on recommendation count while matching it on total mentions, so the two are close rather than clearly separated. Its recommendations convert into top-three placements at a high rate, but first-place placements are far fewer than the leader's.

Framing was almost entirely positive with a small neutral remainder. Both mentions and recommendations were higher than in October, a recorded comparison across separate samples rather than evidence of cause.

ZipRecruiter

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about ZipRecruiter mentions, recommendations and placement?

ZipRecruiter ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 536 (94.70%); recommendations: 507 (89.58%). Top 3 placements: 297 (52.47%); first-place placements: 6 (1.06%).

Wording about the company: 508 positive, 27 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 94.6%. The net framing score was 0.95 (defined in Methodology).

From October 2026 to November 2026, ZipRecruiter's mention count rose from 482 to 536, while its recommendation count rose from 455 to 507. The recommendation rate was 86.34% and 89.58% respectively.

ZipRecruiter holds third place with a recommendation count close to the top two and a mention rate nearly as broad. Its recommendations frequently reach the top three, yet first-place placements are rare, so it is endorsed more often than it is ranked first.

Wording was largely positive with a modest neutral share. Mentions and recommendations both rose from October, and the changed figures alone do not explain the movement.

Glassdoor

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

The monthly table shows separate selected samples, not a continuous panel, and answer totals differ between months. A company's count and rate can move in either direction across those samples, and a changed figure does not by itself demonstrate improvement, lost standing or the effect of any intervention.

Rank positions are likewise snapshots within each month. Where counts are close, small differences can reorder companies without indicating a meaningful separation, so the history should be read alongside the coverage and rate columns rather than in isolation.

What the November Rankings Show

The November results answer several different questions. Reach shows how often a company appeared in the reviewed answers; recommendation shows how often an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement shows where an endorsement sat within an answer's ordering; and framing describes the wording around it. None of these is a measure of customers, sales or company quality.

Read together, they reveal distinct profiles: broad presence with frequent endorsement, frequent endorsement without leading placement, or narrower reach with a larger neutral share. The nested structure of placements and the overlap between companies mean totals should not be summed. The comparisons across months describe recorded change only, and the limits noted in the methodology apply throughout.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Job Posting Sites AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 2 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 1 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

These findings rest on a partial set of AI answers: only some planned question categories contributed usable observations, and the exact collection dates are unverified. Each company is counted at most once per qualifying answer, and one answer can mention or recommend several companies, so company totals overlap.

Recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Top-three and first-place results are contained within recommendations, not added to them. The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customer sentiment or conversion. Monthly samples differ, and the results describe the reviewed answers rather than verified facts about the companies.
