Answer capsule

The November 2026 Invisible Braces benchmark compares 10 companies across 289 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. ALIGNERCO leads with 135 recommendations (46.71% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 166 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many recorded answers affirmatively recommended them. That count is not the same as reach: a company can appear in many answers without being endorsed in most of them. Ties in recommendation count would share a rank, so adjacent positions should not be read as a strict hierarchy unless the printed counts differ.

Mentions, recommendations, shortlist placements and first-place placements answer separate questions. Placements are nested inside recommendations rather than added to them, and recommendation rates use the full answer total. Reading the columns together shows whether a company is widely present, frequently endorsed, or endorsed near the top of an answer.

166 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 646, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Coverage describes how often tracked companies appear across the reviewed answers. Every qualified answer mentioned at least one tracked company, but a smaller share recommended one. Because a single answer can recommend several companies, company-level recommendation counts exceed the number of answers carrying any recommendation.

Answers without a tracked recommendation are not empty of advice; they may have named companies outside this comparison. Overlapping coverage therefore shows presence within a defined company set, not overall market dominance or share of voice.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

ALIGNERCO ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 248 (85.81%); recommendations: 135 (46.71%). Top 3 placements: 89 (30.80%); first-place placements: 41 (14.19%).

Wording about the company: 137 positive, 110 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 54.4%. The net framing score was 0.55 (defined in Methodology).

113 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 65.93% were Top 3 and 30.37% were first-place.

Reach counts an appearance; recommendation requires an affirmative endorsement. ALIGNERCO leads on recommendation count, yet a substantial portion of its mentions carried no recorded recommendation, so presence and endorsement diverge. Invisalign appears in nearly every answer but is recommended in a smaller share of them.

A tie in recommendation count would be a tie, not a unique winner. High mention rates should not be read as equivalent to high recommendation rates, since the two measure different things in the same answers.

Placement describes where within a recommendation a company was positioned. Shortlist placements are a subset of recommendations, and first-place placements are a subset of shortlist placements, so these counts should not be summed or treated as additional wins. A company can be recommended often while rarely placed first.

Recommendation-to-mention ratios describe the recorded answers only. They are not customer conversion, sales, or evidence that an endorsement persuaded anyone. Sparse bases make a strong ratio fragile, so it should be read alongside the underlying counts.

Framing classifies the wording used about a company in the reviewed answers. Positive and neutral wording dominate these profiles, with negative wording rare. A neutral classification is not a negative signal, and positive wording does not establish why a recommendation was or was not recorded.

Net framing summarizes positive minus negative mentions relative to all mentions. It is not customer sentiment, satisfaction, or company quality, and it should not be used to explain differences in recommendation counts across companies.

Company results in detail

ALIGNERCO

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about ALIGNERCO mentions, recommendations and placement?

From October 2026 to November 2026, ALIGNERCO's mention count fell from 272 to 248, while its recommendation count fell from 148 to 135. The recommendation rate was 40.88% and 46.71% respectively.

ALIGNERCO holds the top recommendation count, with broad mention reach and a majority of its mentions also carrying an endorsement. Its placements skew toward the upper part of answers, and first-place appearances form a meaningful subset of its recommendations. Wording is mostly positive or neutral, with negative framing negligible.

Compared with the prior month, both mentions and recommendations were lower, while the recommendation rate was higher. These are separate recorded comparisons from different answer samples; they do not establish why any figure moved.

Invisalign (Align Technology)

Questions This Section Answers

Invisalign (Align Technology) ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 284 (98.27%); recommendations: 125 (43.25%). Top 3 placements: 112 (38.75%); first-place placements: 81 (28.03%).

Wording about the company: 135 positive, 148 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 44.0%. The net framing score was 0.47 (defined in Methodology).

159 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 89.60% were Top 3 and 64.80% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Invisalign (Align Technology)'s mention count fell from 352 to 284, while its recommendation count fell from 130 to 125. The recommendation rate was 35.91% and 43.25% respectively.

Invisalign appears in nearly every reviewed answer, giving it the widest reach in the set, but its recommendation rate is lower than its mention rate suggests. Among its recorded recommendations, a large majority were placed in the top three, and most of those reached first place. Wording is largely positive or neutral.

Both mentions and recommendations were lower than the prior month, while the recommendation rate was higher. The changed samples do not explain these movements, and the comparison should not be read as a loss or gain in standing.

NewSmile

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about NewSmile mentions, recommendations and placement?

NewSmile ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 186 (64.36%); recommendations: 103 (35.64%). Top 3 placements: 57 (19.72%); first-place placements: 17 (5.88%).

Wording about the company: 103 positive, 83 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 55.4%. The net framing score was 0.55 (defined in Methodology).

83 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 55.34% were Top 3 and 16.50% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, NewSmile's mention count fell from 190 to 186, while its recommendation count rose from 94 to 103. The recommendation rate was 25.97% and 35.64% respectively.

NewSmile combines solid mention reach with a recommendation rate close to the middle of the set. Its recommendations are more often shortlisted than placed first, so its presence near the top of answers is limited relative to its overall endorsement count. Wording is positive or neutral, with no negative mentions recorded.

Mentions were slightly lower than the prior month while recommendations rose, and the recommendation rate was higher. These are recorded comparisons across separate samples and do not demonstrate an effect from any change.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, and the number of included answers differs between months. Counts and rates should be read together: a lower count can accompany a higher rate when the answer total also changes. The monthly snapshots show recorded results, not rank stability or equivalent sampling.

Rank changes across months reflect the ordering of recommendation counts in each sample. They do not demonstrate that a company gained or lost standing, and a single previous month is not evidence of a first-ever result.

What the November Rankings Show

The November results show that reach, recommendation, placement and framing answer different questions. A company can appear in most answers yet be endorsed in fewer, or be endorsed often while rarely placed first. Reading these measures together gives a fuller picture than any single column.

Recommendation counts order the leaderboard, but they do not measure customer preference, sales, or product quality. Framing describes wording in the reviewed answers, not sentiment. The comparisons across months describe recorded changes in separate samples and do not establish why those changes occurred.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Invisible Braces AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

This benchmark covers a partial set of answers, and the exact collection dates for the original AI answers have not been verified. Each company is counted at most once per qualifying answer, and a recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Top-three and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

Recommendation-to-mention ratios and net framing describe answer wording, not customer conversion, satisfaction, or company quality. One answer can mention several companies, so company totals overlap. The results describe the reviewed AI answers, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.
