Answer capsule

The November 2026 Email Marketing Service benchmark compares 10 companies across 599 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. ActiveCampaign leads with 310 recommendations (51.75% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 403 answers; some answers recommended several companies.

The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers recorded an affirmative recommendation, so it measures endorsement volume rather than visibility. A company can appear often yet be recommended less often, and the two readings answer different questions.

Ties require equal recommendation counts; near-equal counts are not ties. Placement figures are nested inside recommendations, so first-place and shortlist results should be read as subsets rather than as separate wins.

403 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 1566, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.

Coverage describes how often the tracked companies appear together in the same answers. Most answers that mentioned a tracked company also recommended at least one, and many recommended several, so company totals overlap heavily.

This overlap means coverage is not a measure of overall market dominance. An answer can recommend companies outside this comparison, and answers without a tracked recommendation are still recorded results rather than gaps.

Reach and affirmative recommendation

ActiveCampaign ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 491 (81.97%); recommendations: 310 (51.75%). Top 3 placements: 180 (30.05%); first-place placements: 57 (9.52%).

Wording about the company: 321 positive, 170 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 63.1%. The net framing score was 0.65 (defined in Methodology).

181 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 58.06% were Top 3 and 18.39% were first-place.

Reach separates appearing in an answer from being affirmatively endorsed in it. ActiveCampaign leads on recommendation count while appearing in fewer answers than some rivals, showing that mention volume and endorsement volume diverge.

A recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording, so a mention without one is not a weaker recommendation. The gap between mentions and recommendations is a recorded distinction, not evidence about why an answer chose one company over another.

Placement describes where a recommended company sits in the answer's ordering. Shortlist placements are a subset of recommendations, and first-place placements are a subset of shortlist placements, so these counts should not be added together.

A high first-place share among recommendations indicates frequent leading positions within a smaller recommendation base. It does not indicate conversion, sales or superiority, and sparse bases make strong ratios less stable.

Framing classifies the wording used about a company in the selected answers. Positive, neutral and negative labels describe how the company was discussed, not customer sentiment, reputation or company quality.

Neutral wording is common and does not imply criticism. Because framing is recorded separately from recommendation, positive wording alone does not establish why a recommendation occurred, and negative wording does not establish why one did not.

Company results in detail

ActiveCampaign

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about ActiveCampaign mentions, recommendations and placement?

From October 2026 to November 2026, ActiveCampaign's mention count rose from 396 to 491, while its recommendation count fell from 326 to 310. The recommendation rate was 68.34% and 51.75% respectively.

ActiveCampaign leads the recommendation ranking, with mentions rising while recommendations eased between the two months. Its recommendation-to-mention ratio remains high, meaning most appearances carried an endorsement.

Framing is overwhelmingly positive with no negative mentions recorded. First-place placements form a modest share of its recommendations, so leadership rests on endorsement volume rather than on leading positions alone.

Brevo

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Brevo mentions, recommendations and placement?

Brevo ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 497 (82.97%); recommendations: 301 (50.25%). Top 3 placements: 130 (21.70%); first-place placements: 37 (6.18%).

Wording about the company: 309 positive, 188 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 60.6%. The net framing score was 0.62 (defined in Methodology).

196 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 43.19% were Top 3 and 12.29% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Brevo's mention count rose from 408 to 497, while its recommendation count fell from 337 to 301. The recommendation rate was 70.65% and 50.25% respectively.

Brevo sits just behind the leader on recommendations while appearing in slightly more answers, giving it a marginally lower recommendation-to-mention ratio. Its shortlist and first-place shares are smaller than the top two rivals'.

Framing is positive or neutral with no negative mentions. The recorded month-to-month comparison shows mentions rising and recommendations easing; the separate samples do not explain that movement.

Klaviyo

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Klaviyo mentions, recommendations and placement?

Klaviyo ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 465 (77.63%); recommendations: 292 (48.75%). Top 3 placements: 148 (24.71%); first-place placements: 58 (9.68%).

Wording about the company: 303 positive, 161 neutral, 1 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 62.8%. The net framing score was 0.65 (defined in Methodology).

173 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 50.68% were Top 3 and 19.86% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Klaviyo's mention count rose from 396 to 465, while its recommendation count fell from 320 to 292. The recommendation rate was 67.09% and 48.75% respectively.

Klaviyo holds third on recommendations with a recommendation-to-mention ratio close to the leaders, and its first-place share among recommendations is comparatively strong. That pattern suggests frequent leading positions within a slightly smaller endorsement base.

Framing is almost entirely positive or neutral, with a single negative mention recorded. Placement counts remain nested within recommendations rather than additional outcomes.

Mailchimp

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Mailchimp mentions, recommendations and placement?

Mailchimp ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 533 (88.98%); recommendations: 213 (35.56%). Top 3 placements: 102 (17.03%); first-place placements: 63 (10.52%).

Wording about the company: 228 positive, 294 neutral, 11 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 40.0%. The net framing score was 0.41 (defined in Methodology).

320 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 47.89% were Top 3 and 29.58% were first-place.

From October 2026 to November 2026, Mailchimp's mention count rose from 392 to 533, while its recommendation count fell from 287 to 213. The recommendation rate was 60.17% and 35.56% respectively.

Mailchimp ranks fourth by recommendation count while appearing in a large majority of the recorded answers. Recommendation is affirmative endorsement, so its recommendation-to-mention ratio describes how often an appearance also carried endorsement in these answers, not customer behaviour or sales. Many mentions carried no recorded recommendation.

Wording around Mailchimp was mostly neutral, with fewer positive and a small number of negative mentions. First-place placements form a subset of shortlist placements, which are themselves a subset of recommendations. The month-to-month comparison shows mentions rising while recommendations fell; the changed rate alone does not establish why.

Kit (ConvertKit) ranks fifth, with roughly half of its mentions carrying a recommendation. Shortlist and first-place placements are comparatively rare within its recommendations, so its profile rests more on endorsement presence than on leading position.

Framing is positive or neutral with no negative mentions recorded. The recorded comparison shows mentions rising while recommendations eased across separate monthly samples.

Framing is positive or neutral with no negative mentions. Its mention count rose notably between the recorded months while recommendations held roughly level, a divergence the samples do not explain.

Constant Contact

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Constant Contact mentions, recommendations and placement?

Constant Contact ranks 7 by recommendation count. Mentions: 257 (42.90%); recommendations: 91 (15.19%). Top 3 placements: 32 (5.34%); first-place placements: 8 (1.34%).

GetResponse

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about GetResponse mentions, recommendations and placement?

GetResponse ranks eighth on a small recommendation base, with roughly a third of mentions carrying an endorsement. Shortlist placements are minimal and no first-place placements were recorded, so its recommendations rarely sit at the top of an answer.

Framing is more neutral than positive with no negative mentions. Sparse counts make its ratios sensitive to small changes, so they should be read cautiously.

AWeber

Questions This Section Answers

  • What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about AWeber mentions, recommendations and placement?

AWeber ranks 9 by recommendation count. Mentions: 48 (8.01%); recommendations: 17 (2.84%). Top 3 placements: 2 (0.33%); first-place placements: 1 (0.17%).

Framing is more neutral than positive with no negative mentions. Both mentions and recommendations rose slightly in the recorded comparison, but the small totals limit interpretation.

Campaign Monitor (Marigold)

Questions This Section Answers

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.

Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, so counts, rates and ranks are compared across different answer sets rather than a fixed panel. A changed rank can follow from shifts elsewhere in the field as much as from a company's own results.

Smaller answer totals in one month do not establish why a company's counts or rates moved. The comparisons show what was recorded, not the reasons behind it.

What the November Rankings Show

The November results answer several distinct questions. Reach asks how often a company appeared; recommendation asks how often an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where that endorsement sat; framing asks how the company was worded. These measures can point in different directions for the same company.

Mailchimp illustrates the split between wide appearance and narrower endorsement, while ActiveCampaign shows endorsement volume leading the field. Placement figures are nested subsets of recommendations, not additional wins, and framing is wording rather than customer sentiment. Read together, the measures describe the recorded answers without establishing why any company was recommended.

Methodology

Questions This Section Answers

  • How were the November 2026 Email Marketing Service AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?

This benchmark has partial coverage: 3 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 0 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.

The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.

Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.

The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.

Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.

Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):

The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.

One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.

July 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison. August 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison.

The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.

These findings cover the available answer set only. The reporting month labels the period, but the exact collection dates of the original AI answers have not been verified, and question-category coverage describes what was available rather than platform outages.

Each company is counted at most once per answer, and one answer can mention or recommend several companies, so company totals overlap. Recommendation requires affirmative endorsement plus positive wording. Placement results sit inside recommendations. The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customers, sales or company quality. Monthly samples differ, so comparisons show recorded change without explaining it.
