Answer capsule
The November 2026 Make Money Online benchmark compares 10 companies across 167 AI answers that met its inclusion rules. Upwork leads with 127 recommendations (76.05% of answers). At least one tracked company was recommended in 163 answers; some answers recommended several companies.
The rankings distinguish being mentioned from receiving an affirmative recommendation, then examine placement and the wording used about each company. Earlier monthly results show how counts and rates changed, with each month using its own answer total. These results describe the answers reviewed, not product quality or customer satisfaction. Differences between monthly samples limit comparisons and do not establish why a result changed.

Questions This Section Answers
- How do Make Money Online rank by recorded AI recommendations in November 2026?
Rank | Company | Recommendations | Recommendation rate | Mention rate | Top 3 rate | #1 rate | Net sentiment |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Upwork | 127 | 76.05% | 78.44% | 25.75% | 18.56% | 0.97 |
2 | Fiverr | 115 | 68.86% | 70.66% | 22.16% | 1.20% | 0.97 |
3 | TaskRabbit | 92 | 55.09% | 56.89% | 11.38% | 4.19% | 0.97 |
4 | Swagbucks | 77 | 46.11% | 66.47% | 20.96% | 10.18% | 0.68 |
5 | Rover | 73 | 43.71% | 45.51% | 2.40% | 0.00% | 0.96 |
6 | Survey Junkie(Acquiring Company: DISQO, Inc.) | 47 | 28.14% | 37.13% | 13.77% | 2.40% | 0.74 |
7 | Amazon | 45 | 26.95% | 39.52% | 4.19% | 1.20% | 0.68 |
8 | InboxDollars | 39 | 23.35% | 30.54% | 7.78% | 0.00% | 0.73 |
9 | Etsy | 37 | 22.16% | 25.75% | 3.59% | 1.20% | 0.86 |
10 | Shopify POS | 3 | 1.80% | 10.78% | 0.00% | 0.00% | 0.17 |
The leaderboard orders companies by how many answers recorded an affirmative recommendation, so it measures endorsement volume rather than visibility alone. A company can appear often yet be recommended less often, which is why mention counts and recommendation counts are reported separately.
Ties require equal recommendation counts; near-equal counts are not ties. Placement figures are nested inside recommendations, so first-place and shortlist results describe position within endorsements, not additional wins.

Tracked-company answer coverage
Questions This Section Answers
- How often did the November 2026 Make Money Online answer sample recommend any tracked company?
Answer-level result | Qualified answers | Share of qualified answers |
|---|---|---|
At least one tracked company mentioned | 167 | 100.00% |
At least one tracked company recommended | 163 | 97.60% |
No tracked company recommended | 4 | 2.40% |
Multiple tracked companies recommended | 161 | 96.41% |
163 distinct answers recommended at least one tracked company. Counting each company recommendation separately gives 655, because an answer can recommend several companies. Answers with no tracked recommendation may still have recommended companies outside this comparison.
Nearly every included answer mentioned at least one tracked company, and almost all of those also recommended one. Most answers recommended several tracked companies at once, so company totals overlap and cannot be summed into a market share.
The small group of answers without a tracked recommendation may still have named companies outside this comparison. Coverage therefore describes presence within the reviewed answers, not overall market dominance.
Reach and affirmative recommendation
Upwork ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 131 (78.44%); recommendations: 127 (76.05%). Top 3 placements: 43 (25.75%); first-place placements: 31 (18.56%).
Wording about the company: 127 positive, 4 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 96.9%. The net framing score was 0.97 (defined in Methodology).
4 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 33.86% were Top 3 and 24.41% were first-place.
Mention means the company appeared in an answer; recommendation means the answer affirmatively endorsed it. Upwork's mentions and recommendations are close, so most appearances carried an endorsement, and the few mentions without one are recorded rather than assumed.
A high recommendation-to-mention ratio describes the wording of these answers. It does not measure customer preference, sales or conversion, and it does not explain why an endorsement was or was not given.
Recommendation order and placement
Company | Mentions | Recommendation-to-mention ratio | Top 3 / #1 counts | Positive / neutral / negative mentions |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Upwork | 131 | 96.9% | 43 / 31 | 127 / 4 / 0 |
Fiverr | 118 | 97.5% | 37 / 2 | 115 / 3 / 0 |
TaskRabbit | 95 | 96.8% | 19 / 7 | 92 / 3 / 0 |
Swagbucks | 111 | 69.4% | 35 / 17 | 77 / 32 / 2 |
Rover | 76 | 96.1% | 4 / 0 | 73 / 3 / 0 |
Survey Junkie(Acquiring Company: DISQO, Inc.) | 62 | 75.8% | 23 / 4 | 47 / 14 / 1 |
Amazon | 66 | 68.2% | 7 / 2 | 45 / 21 / 0 |
InboxDollars | 51 | 76.5% | 13 / 0 | 39 / 10 / 2 |
Etsy | 43 | 86.0% | 6 / 2 | 37 / 6 / 0 |
Shopify POS | 18 | 16.7% | 0 / 0 | 3 / 15 / 0 |
Placement records where a recommended company sat in an answer's ordering. Shortlist placements sit inside recommendations, and first-place placements sit inside shortlist placements, so these are nested subsets rather than separate achievements.
Ratios such as first-place share of recommendations use only the recommended base. Companies with few recommendations produce unstable ratios, so a strong-looking share on a sparse base should be read cautiously.
Classified framing in context
Company | Positive | Neutral | Negative |
|---|---|---|---|
Upwork | 127 | 4 | 0 |
Fiverr | 115 | 3 | 0 |
TaskRabbit | 92 | 3 | 0 |
Swagbucks | 77 | 32 | 2 |
Rover | 73 | 3 | 0 |
Survey Junkie(Acquiring Company: DISQO, Inc.) | 47 | 14 | 1 |
Amazon | 45 | 21 | 0 |
InboxDollars | 39 | 10 | 2 |
Etsy | 37 | 6 | 0 |
Shopify POS | 3 | 15 | 0 |
Framing classifies the wording attached to each mention as positive, neutral or negative. It is not customer sentiment, reputation or a judgment of company quality, and neutral wording does not imply disapproval.
Because a recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording, framing and recommendation counts are related but distinct. The classification describes how these answers phrased their mentions, not why any company was treated favorably or unfavorably.
Company results in detail
Upwork
Questions This Section Answers
- What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Upwork mentions, recommendations and placement?
Upwork ranks 1 by recommendation count. Mentions: 131 (78.44%); recommendations: 127 (76.05%). Top 3 placements: 43 (25.75%); first-place placements: 31 (18.56%).
Wording about the company: 127 positive, 4 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 96.9%. The net framing score was 0.97 (defined in Methodology).
4 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 33.86% were Top 3 and 24.41% were first-place.
From October 2026 to November 2026, Upwork's mention count fell from 275 to 131, while its recommendation count fell from 256 to 127. The recommendation rate was 72.73% and 76.05% respectively.
Upwork holds the highest recommendation count in this sample, and most of its appearances carry an affirmative endorsement. Only a small number of mentions lack a recorded recommendation. First-place placements form a substantial subset of its shortlist placements, which are themselves a subset of recommendations.
Both mentions and recommendations were lower than the prior month, while the recommendation rate was higher. The months are separate selected samples, so the comparison records change without establishing its cause.
Fiverr
Questions This Section Answers
- What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Fiverr mentions, recommendations and placement?
Fiverr ranks 2 by recommendation count. Mentions: 118 (70.66%); recommendations: 115 (68.86%). Top 3 placements: 37 (22.16%); first-place placements: 2 (1.20%).
Wording about the company: 115 positive, 3 neutral, 0 negative mentions. The proportion of mentions that also included a recommendation was 97.5%. The net framing score was 0.97 (defined in Methodology).
3 mentions had no recorded recommendation. Of recorded recommendations, 32.17% were Top 3 and 1.74% were first-place.
From October 2026 to November 2026, Fiverr's mention count fell from 259 to 118, while its recommendation count fell from 240 to 115. The recommendation rate was 68.18% and 68.86% respectively.
Fiverr holds second place by recommendation count and endorses in almost every mention, leaving very few appearances without a recommendation. Its shortlist placements are common, but first-place placements are rare, so its recommendations cluster away from the top position.
Mentions and recommendations were both lower than the prior month, while the recommendation rate was slightly higher. These are separate monthly samples, and the figures do not explain the shift.
TaskRabbit
Questions This Section Answers
- What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about TaskRabbit mentions, recommendations and placement?
TaskRabbit ranks 3 by recommendation count. Mentions: 95 (56.89%); recommendations: 92 (55.09%). Top 3 placements: 19 (11.38%); first-place placements: 7 (4.19%).

From October 2026 to November 2026, TaskRabbit's mention count fell from 179 to 95, while its recommendation count fell from 169 to 92. The recommendation rate was 48.01% and 55.09% respectively.
TaskRabbit ranks third by recommendation count, and nearly all of its mentions carry an endorsement. Its shortlist placements are moderate, with a smaller first-place subset, so most of its recommendations sit outside the leading position.
Both mentions and recommendations were lower than the prior month, while the recommendation rate was higher. The recorded comparison does not establish why counts or rates moved, and the monthly samples are not equivalent.
Swagbucks
Questions This Section Answers
- What do the November 2026 AI answer results show about Swagbucks mentions, recommendations and placement?
Swagbucks ranks 4 by recommendation count. Mentions: 111 (66.47%); recommendations: 77 (46.11%). Top 3 placements: 35 (20.96%); first-place placements: 17 (10.18%).

From October 2026 to November 2026, Swagbucks' mention count fell from 239 to 111, while its recommendation count fell from 210 to 77. The recommendation rate was 59.66% and 46.11% respectively.
Swagbucks records many appearances but a smaller share of them carry an affirmative endorsement, leaving a sizable group of mentions without a recorded recommendation. Neutral wording is comparatively common in its mentions. Among its recommendations, shortlist placements are frequent and first-place results less so.
Mentions, recommendations and the recommendation rate were all lower than the prior month. The smaller answer total does not explain that movement.

Mentions and recommendations were lower than the prior month, while the recommendation rate was higher. These are recorded comparisons only, not evidence of a cause.

Only months with verified results are shown. Monthly sample coverage is listed in Methodology.
Each month is a separate sample of AI answers, and the number of included answers differs across months. Counts and rates therefore should be read together rather than compared as if the samples were equivalent.
Rank changes across months describe the recorded ordering only. They do not establish rank stability, improvement or loss of standing, and a single prior month cannot show a first-ever result.

What the November Rankings Show
The November results answer different questions at each layer. Reach asks whether a company appeared at all; recommendation asks whether an answer affirmatively endorsed it; placement asks where that endorsement sat; and framing asks how the wording was classified. A company can be visible without being endorsed, or endorsed without appearing near the top.
Because placements are nested inside recommendations and answers can name several companies, the figures overlap and should not be added together. The monthly comparisons record change across separate samples without explaining it, and framing reflects answer wording rather than customer sentiment or company quality.
Methodology
Questions This Section Answers
- How were the November 2026 Make Money Online AI visibility measures counted, and what do they not establish?
This benchmark has partial coverage: 1 of 3 planned question categories contributed usable observations; 2 contributed none. This describes question-category coverage, not demonstrated platform outages. Findings apply to the available answer set.
The month in the title is the reporting period. The exact dates when the original AI answers were collected have not been verified.
Each company is counted at most once in each answer that meets the benchmark rules. A recommendation requires both an affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Mention, recommendation, Top 3 and first-place rates use the full benchmark answer total. Top 3 and first-place results are included within recommendations, not added to them.
The recommendation-to-mention ratio divides recommendations by mentions. It describes AI answer wording, not customer conversion. Net framing is positive minus negative mentions, divided by all mentions, on a scale from -1 to +1. It does not measure customer satisfaction or company quality.
Market: US; 10 tracked companies. AI services represented: ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity.
Research screening totals (answer observations can include repeated questions):
Screening measure | Count |
|---|---|
Answers included in the benchmark | 167 |
Answers marked relevant during screening | 239 |
Answers marked reserved (screening label) | 72 |
Answers marked irrelevant during screening | 561 |
Captured answer observations | 800 |
Distinct questions | 597 |
Answer observations marked as mentioning a brand | 800 |
The source does not provide a reader-facing definition of “reserved”; that screening label is reported without inferring a reason for exclusion. Only the included benchmark answers form the rate denominator.
One answer can mention or recommend several companies. Adding company totals would therefore count some answers more than once. The results describe the AI answers reviewed, not independently verified facts about the companies or their products.
Monthly sample coverage:
Reporting month | Answers included | AI services covered | Services |
|---|---|---|---|
Jul 2026 | 383 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Sep 2026 | 372 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Oct 2026 | 352 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
Nov 2026 | 167 | 6 | ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity |
August 2026 measured a different set of companies, so it is excluded from this comparison.
The answer samples differ between months. These comparisons show how the recorded results changed; they do not establish why they changed.
Coverage is partial: only one of three planned question categories contributed usable observations, so findings apply to the available answer set rather than the full intended scope. The reporting month labels the period, but exact collection dates were not verified.
Each company is counted at most once per answer, and a recommendation requires both affirmative endorsement and positive wording. Rates use the full benchmark answer total, and placement results are included within recommendations. The recommendation-to-mention ratio and net framing describe answer wording, not customers, sales or company quality. Monthly samples differ, so comparisons show recorded change without establishing cause.
