Benchmark Summary

Morgan & Morgan remains the category leader in August 2026 with a valid recommendation coverage of 39.6%, down from 50.3% in July 2026. The gap to the next brand narrowed to 16.1 percentage points, as Wilshire Law Firm moved to 23.5% coverage in August 2026 from 17.6% in July 2026.

The largest coverage increase came from Pintas & Mullins, which rose to 1.6% in August 2026 from 0.0% in July 2026, entering the benchmark after a month with no tracked presence. The largest coverage decline was Morgan & Morgan, falling 10.7 percentage points from 50.3% in July 2026 to 39.6% in August 2026, a movement beyond normal month-to-month variation.

The month was mixed overall, with three brands showing significant declines (Dolman Law Group, Morgan & Morgan, The Barnes Firm) and one significant riser (Pintas & Mullins). Across the two-month series, the benchmark collected 521 prompt-surface observations in July 2026 and 585 in August 2026, producing 193 and 255 qualified observations respectively after qualification.
